Evolution Gets Exclusive Live Dealer Deal With Boyd Interactive
The companies changed their existing agreement on a multi-year basis. Evolution announced the amendment on September 18. Financial terms were not given.
Deal Covers Three Boyd Brands
The agreement includes StardustCasino.com and ResortsCasino.com in markets where they currently operate. MoheganSunCasino.com in New Jersey is also covered.
Evolution said Boyd players will have access to its Live Dealer catalogue. Named games include Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Craps.
The exclusivity is for Live Dealer. The announcement does not say that Evolution becomes the sole supplier for slots or other RNG casino games.
Boyd Interactive CEO Jim Ryan said the two companies have worked together for years. Evolution CCO Marcus Huber described the new agreement as an expansion of the existing partnership.
Current Footprint Gives Six Combinations
Boyd does not put a market number in the Evolution release. Its current online casino portfolio shows six brand-market combinations covered by the new setup:
- Stardust – New Jersey;
- Stardust – Pennsylvania;
- Stardust – Ontario;
- Stardust – Alberta;
- Resorts – New Jersey;
- Mohegan Sun – New Jersey.
This puts the exclusive Live Dealer agreement across four regulated jurisdictions.
New Jersey has the biggest overlap. All three Boyd brands named in the deal operate there. Stardust is the only one from the group also listed by Boyd in Pennsylvania and Canada.
What to Watch Next
Evolution did not give a rollout schedule for individual markets. The amendment instead changes the supplier setup across Boyd Interactive’s existing Live Dealer operations in the US and Canada.
