Stake Opens Engine Game Network to Other Casino Operators

Stake Opens Engine Game Network to Other Casino Operators
Stake has opened Engine to third-party casino operators, extending a game network that was previously focused on its own platform. More than 1,000 creators currently produce over 250 Engine games each week.

Engine puts total betting activity across those games at 9.7 billion bets and more than $23 billion in turnover. Its website now shows over 1,100 creators and more than $60 million paid to them.

The September 15 announcement does not mean outside casinos are live yet. Operators can begin onboarding, while Engine lists December 11, 2026 as the start date for integrations.

Until now, Stake was the main outlet for games coming through the platform.

Engine Adds Other Casinos to Its Distribution

Developers still submit games through Engine, which handles hosting and review. Approved titles can reach Stake within 24 hours, according to the company.

The operator offer groups the content behind one integration. Engine also handles creator settlements through a single monthly invoice, while casinos retain control over limits for bets and individual rounds. That removes the need to make a separate technical connection with every small studio in the network.

The change is notable because exclusivity was still part of Stake's content pitch this year. In July, 15M reported on Coreffect releases promoted as “Only on Stake”.

Engine games will now have another route once the first outside integrations open in December.

Nearly 4,000 Games Were Already Being Tracked

The 250-plus weekly output also gives 15M a useful comparison. Kept for 52 weeks, it would amount to at least 13,000 game releases. That is simply the annualised equivalent of Engine's current weekly figure, rather than a forecast for its catalogue.

An independent count is much lower, but measures something different. Adam Fonsica's Engine tracker showed 3,994 games and 1,138 providers in its latest available snapshot, taken on September 14. It tracks indie titles built with the Engine SDK and leaves out Stake Originals, Pragmatic Play, Evolution and other large suppliers.

The existing catalogue therefore already runs into the thousands before Engine starts distributing it to other casinos.

From 10% GGR in 2025 to December Integrations

Stake's April 2025 pitch to developers was 10% of GGR. The company also said Engine games had generated $3.31 billion in turnover in the prior 12 months.

The next milestone is December 11, when the first outside operator integrations are due to launch.
