Splash Sports Adds 24/7 Funding With $1M Daily Limit

EDGE Markets announced the integration in a September 9 release. EDGE Connect is a private closed-loop settlement network, while EDGE Boost provides eligible customers with real-time fund movement and a separate account for gaming funds. Splash Sports is a peer-to-peer sports gaming platform offering real-money contests including Survivor, Pick’Em and fantasy formats.
The companies are targeting a problem that becomes more visible around high-value sports contests: bank processing windows do not always match nights, weekends or Sunday kickoff deadlines.
“Capital should move on the player's schedule, not the banks,” EDGE Markets founder and CEO Seni Thomas said.
The size of the daily limit is also well above what a player would need simply to buy the maximum number of entries in Splash Sports' main Survivor contest.
$1M Daily Limit Equals 4.8% of the Prize Pool
The official contest page lists a $21 million guaranteed prize pool, a $1,000 entry fee and a maximum of 150 entries per player. That puts EDGE Boost's $1 million daily deposit ceiling at about 4.8% of the entire guaranteed prize pool.
There is another useful comparison. Buying all 150 permitted entries would cost $150,000. The EDGE daily limit is therefore roughly 6.7 times the maximum direct entry cost for one player.
Registration for the contest closed on September 13, but the need to move funds does not necessarily end with registration. EDGE said Splash Sports' Marketplace and Team Entries features can require players to transfer money during the season as stakes are bought, sold or managed between participants.
EDGE Boost Has Processed More Than $2B
EDGE Markets said it has also announced integrations with Kalshi, Polymarket and ProphetX. The company puts total transaction volume through EDGE Boost at more than $2 billion.
For Splash Sports, that means the funding rail remains relevant after entries close, as eligible customers can continue moving capital during the competition.
