Playtech H1 Adjusted EBITDA Jumps 77% to €162.5m

The results extend the supplier’s strong start to 2026, with the Americas remaining its main growth engine. Playtech had said in its July trading update that H1 adjusted EBITDA would exceed €155 million and raised full-year guidance following stronger-than-expected trading.
| Metric | H1 2026 | H1 2025 | Change |
| Revenue | €425.1m | €387.0m | +10% |
| Adjusted EBITDA | €162.5m | €91.6m | +77% |
| B2B revenue | €394.8m | €347.6m | +14% |
| Adjusted post-tax profit | €95.0m | €16.6m | +472% |
US and Canada Revenue Rises 161%
Revenue from the US and Canada increased 161% year on year, led primarily by Playtech’s Past Motor Racing product with Hard Rock Bet in Florida. The supplier also expanded with Fanatics, FanDuel, DraftKings and Bet365 across several regulated US states.
Latin America revenue grew 29% on an underlying basis, driven by Mexico and Colombia. Playtech said its major new strategic partnership in Brazil is still expected to be signed toward the end of 2026. The company did not identify the partner. It also confirmed completion of its São Paulo Live Casino studio.
CEO Mor Weizer said: “The US delivered an outstanding performance, driven by our partnership with Hard Rock Digital.”
Playtech Keeps FY2026 Guidance Above €270m
Playtech now expects full-year adjusted EBITDA of more than €270 million. Based on the €219 million analyst consensus disclosed before July’s upgrade, the current guidance is more than 23% higher.
H2 EBITDA is still expected to fall below H1 as Hard Rock Digital revenue normalises, Brazil investment continues and Playtech absorbs a full half-year impact from higher UK Remote Gaming Duty.
What Playtech’s H1 Growth Means for Operators
The results show that Playtech’s growth is increasingly tied to regulated markets and large operator partnerships. B2B revenue from regulated markets rose 21% on an underlying basis, while US and Canada revenue increased 161%, making North America a much larger part of Playtech’s growth story.
For affiliates, the main development to watch is Brazil. Playtech still expects to sign its previously announced strategic partnership there later in 2026, which could add another major operator relationship in a market the company has identified as a key area for future growth.
Playtech expects the Brazil partnership to be signed in late 2026.
