Games Global Brings Slot and Live Casino Portfolio to Alberta

Games Global Brings Slot and Live Casino Portfolio to Alberta
Games Global has entered Alberta’s open iGaming market with three familiar slot franchises and live-table content from OnAir Entertainment. The supplier already operates in Ontario, giving it a second regulated Canadian market for its casino portfolio.

Games Global has secured registration from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis to supply the market. Fishin’ Pots of Gold, 12 Masks of Fire, and Gold Blitz are among the first titles named for the province.

The Alberta package also includes table games distributed through OnAir Entertainment, Games Global’s exclusive live casino partner in Canada.

Alberta Adds a Second Open Canadian Market

Alberta opened its competitive iGaming market on July 13, about two months before Games Global announced its entry. It became the second Canadian province after Ontario to allow private operators under an open regulated model.

Regulatory and commercial duties are split between two bodies. AGLC handles oversight and registration, while Alberta iGaming Corporation deals with commercial agreements, financial reporting and other market functions. AGLC says the province is already home to dozens of registered operators and gaming suppliers.

A Wider Catalogue Sits Behind the Launch

The three slots named in the Alberta announcement cover only one part of Games Global’s product range. Its wider catalogue includes progressive jackpots, branded games, table games, video poker and bingo, along with crash and casual titles.

The company also uses a multi-studio model. Its current network includes OnAir Entertainment, Switch Studios, Just For The Win and Northern Lights Gaming, among a broader group of in-house and partner studios.

This gives operators more to work with than the initial Alberta game list suggests. Different studios cover different formats, so Games Global is not tied to one slot series or a single type of casino content as its local distribution grows.

Ontario Remains the Reference Point

Games Global already supplies regulated operators in Ontario. Chief Commercial Officer Mark MacCombie also referred to the province when discussing the Alberta launch, saying the company wants to build on its existing Canadian presence.

North America remains a strategic focus for the supplier. Outside Canada, Games Global has also established operator partnerships in regulated US states.

For Alberta casinos, the immediate addition is a mix of known slots and live-table content, with a much larger catalogue sitting behind them. The timing could be important. Suppliers are arriving quickly and operators are still shaping their game libraries, so early distribution may help determine which titles keep prominent lobby positions once the market settles.
