Sportivo Charata Civil Association secured an infrastructure agreement with Lotería Chaqueña yesterday. The lottery authority operates in Argentina’s Chaco province.
President Miguel Ángel Quintana signed for the football club. Lucas Apud Masím, who leads the lottery, signed for Lotería Chaqueña. “This is a before-and-after for us,” Quintana said after the deal closed.
The club runs football programs for 160 people. That includes both adults and children across all age categories. They play at a facility on Republica Argentina and Arturo Illia streets in Charata.
Why This Deal Fits Broader Strategy
Lotería Chaqueña wants to strengthen sports facilities throughout Chaco. The agreement follows board directives and provincial government policies, according to Apud Masín.
But there’s more to the lottery’s community push. The authority recently launched Deporbingo 2025, a fundraising program for sports clubs and civil organisations. It’s designed to give these groups a reliable income source through ticket sales.
The program has grown since it started. Last year saw 315 institutions take part. Now it’s in its sixth edition.
What Sportivo Charata Gets from Agreement
The deal covers perimeter fencing for Sportivo Charata’s facility. That’s the main infrastructure improvement from this agreement.
Deporbingo 2025 offers another support channel for clubs like Sportivo Charata. Organizations sell tickets at ARS5,000 ($3.30) each and keep 70% of sales revenue. The draw happens December 12.
Five rounds will award prizes between ARS5 million and ARS20 million in cash. The grand prize is a new double-cab pickup truck.
Apud Masín explained how the program expanded. “It is a solidarity tool originally intended only for clubs and athletes, but since 2024 and driven by Governor Leandro Zdero, it was decided to also open it to all public benefit entities.”
How This Changes Community Support
The dual approach gives clubs direct infrastructure help and ongoing fundraising options. Sportivo Charata gets immediate facility improvements while other organizations can tap Deporbingo for revenue.
Carolina Meiriño serves as General Secretary of the Government. She praised “the versatility of this tool that combines entertainment with social good.” The program lets organizations fund their operations through ticket sales rather than relying solely on donations or membership fees.
The lottery authority coordinates with provincial government policies on these initiatives. That means more clubs might see similar infrastructure deals moving forward.
Deporbingo’s growth from its first edition to 315 participating institutions last year shows the model works. The sixth edition’s prize structure increased from previous years too.
“It’s important to work together with the people to generate these spaces of support, solidarity and attention to the family,” Meiriño added. The program links entertainment with practical support for community organizations across Chaco province.
