AGCO Clearance Gives Endorphina an Ontario Opening
Endorphina has taken the regulatory step required to supply licensed iGaming operators in Ontario. For the slot developer, that means access to a market that filters providers before they can go live.

Endorphina obtained Gaming-Related Supplier registration in Ontario. Now, the company is allowed to provide gaming content to licensed operators in the province.

Ontario does not let suppliers enter through the side door. The AGCO requires companies that want to supply products or services to iGaming operators to register first. The Ontario market carries weight for B2B suppliers mostly because of that structure.

Ontario Access Starts With Compliance

The province’s regulated open iGaming market launched on April 4, 2022. The AGCO’s framework covers both operators and suppliers under formal standards and compliance obligations. In practice, approval there tells the market that a supplier has cleared more than an onboarding process.

The number of licensed operators in Ontario has also grown, from 12 at launch to 50 active operators by the end of fiscal year 2024-25. Seen in this context, supplier approval gains extra commercial significance. At the same time, new market entrants have to fight for distribution.

The Supplier Behind the Approval

Endorphina is not entering Ontario as an unknown content studio. On its website, the company says it offers more than 200 online slot games. It operates under an MGA B2B licence and has certification coverage across more than 50 jurisdictions.

In recent months, Endorphina has also been expanding through partnerships in other regulated markets. Among them are the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy.

A North American Gateway

Ontario is an important addition for Endorphina, as it gives the supplier access to one of North America’s better-structured online gambling environments. The market is large enough, and it is casino-led, which is relevant to the provider.

Casino products made up 75% of total gaming revenue and 84% of all wagers placed within the province’s regulated iGaming market during fiscal 2024-25. Within its first full year of operation, Ontario’s open iGaming market generated more than C$35.5 billion in wagers and C$1.26 billion in total gaming revenue. That came from 46 operators serving over 1.6 million active player accounts.

These numbers are courtesy of iGaming Ontario. In addition to yearly reports, the province now publishes monthly market performance.

What to Watch Next

The registration makes Endorphina eligible to supply licensed operators in Ontario, but it does not guarantee its scale. In this regard, compliance is the entry ticket. Operator distribution is the next step that proves whether this development has real commercial weight.
