800+ Creators Now in Polymarket’s Paid Esports Network
Polymarket's paid esports promotion network has grown to more than 800 participants, against just over 300 in early August. But the four game channels do not receive the same amount of work.

Dota 2 creators were offered only four paid posts over 76 days, while Valorant, League of Legends and Counter-Strike had nearly daily assignments in recent weeks. The figures come from ReaderGrev’s October 15 investigation.

A $300 Post Does Not Need to Go Viral

Polymarket agrees on a fee with each creator before they begin. Someone with an established audience can charge more, but an unusually successful sponsored post does not earn an extra reward.

The investigation found two participants charging $45 and $75. Another had negotiated 200-300, while two others reported payments starting at $10.

A screenshot from PolyTrack, the system Polymarket uses to manage the program, showed nearly $900 in monthly earnings from about 12 posts. That comes to roughly $75 each.

There is a recruitment payment too. The person who invites a new creator receives 3% of that recruit’s earnings every month. On the documented $900 example, the commission would be around $27, by 15M’s calculation.

Polymarket Sends the Post, Creators Add the Commentary

A creator does not need to find a story to promote. The assignment arrives in Discord, usually with a link to one of Polymarket’s own esports posts on X.

Participants like the original, add a quote-post from their personal account and submit it within 24 hours. PolyTrack keeps the posting records and earnings figures, alongside wallet and tax details.

It is not a program limited to major esports personalities. ReaderGrev found smaller accounts alongside professional players, coaches, commentators and people working around tournaments.

As for payment, it comes in cryptocurrency. The company had used PayPal until July, when a representative told members that repeated account blocks had prompted a change.

One Reminder Disappeared in August

Earlier Discord assignments told creators to use X’s paid-partnership tag. By late August, that instruction had been dropped from the messages.

It was not removed from Polymarket’s formal marketing guidelines. Those still require disclosure and ban recommendations to make particular trades. Many of the sponsored posts identified by ReaderGrev also carried the tag.

The internal guidance puts considerable emphasis on writing style. Rather than repeating advertising slogans, participants are encouraged to add their own reaction or analysis. Staff review the captions.
