7KBet Moves to Exit Vitória as Brazil Clubs Pull Betting Brands

7KBet has moved to terminate its sponsorship of Vitória after Brazil prohibited fixed-odds betting and its advertising. The operator told the club that it was ending the agreement, according to Folha de S.Paulo. The contract had been due to run through December 2027. Vitória has challenged the termination and sent a counter-notification, arguing that the deal should be suspended instead.
That is a step beyond the warnings seen last week. 15M previously reported that betting firms had started warning Brazilian football clubs about possible sponsorship exits, but contracts had not yet been cancelled.
Vitória Puts 2027 Exposure at R$45M
Vitória president Fábio Mota said the club had expected R$45 million ($8.7 million) from 7KBet in 2027. The club is contesting the termination and is trying to keep the agreement in place.
The original agreement was signed at R$16 million a year. Subsequent adjustments had pushed Vitória’s projected 2027 payment to R$45 million. Dollar equivalents are based on the Banco Central do Brasil September 30 PTAX closing rate of R$5.1809 per $1 and are rounded.
Five Deals, Four Different Responses
A 15M check of reported Série A cases shows that clubs and operators are not handling existing sponsorships in one way. A September 30 UOL review documented several of the changes already visible across club marketing.

Grêmio is the tightest timing case: it announced Pitaco as its new master sponsor on September 23, two days before the betting measure was published.
Santos has gone furthest in keeping the commercial relationship alive. Its Novibet exposure is suspended, but the contract remains in force. The club started removing the branding after the measure was published.
October 5 Is the Next Cut-Off
Brazil’s Provisional Measure 1,394/2026 prohibits the operation and advertising of fixed-odds betting. Betting sponsorship material must be removed by October 5.
Fourteen of the 20 Série A clubs had betting companies in the master sponsorship position before the ban. The first few days now show at least four different ways those contracts are being unwound or parked.
