Team Liquid Takes Duelbits Partnership Into CS2 With Market Mayhem

Team Liquid announced Market Mayhem through its CS2 account on August 26. Duelbits followed with a separate post promoting the same challenge.
The idea is straightforward: players enter the custom map, finish the aim course, and try to post the fastest time.
Market Mayhem Challenge Includes CS2 Skin Giveaway
There is also a giveaway attached to the launch. The prizes announced by Team Liquid include a Factory New StatTrak AK-47 Fire Serpent and a Factory New Desert Eagle Blaze.
The map itself appeared on Steam Workshop a day earlier, on August 25. Its listing puts the download at roughly 569.5 MB. Steam also shows that the file received an update soon after it was uploaded.
Duelbits branding is built into the map rather than added around a tournament broadcast or team social post. That gives the operator a different type of exposure to CS2 players, particularly those who already use Workshop maps for aim practice and short competitive challenges.
Steam Page Now Carries a Removal Notice
The map’s status changed after the launch posts went live. At the time of writing, the individual Steam Workshop page displays a notice stating that the item has been removed from the community under Steam’s Community & Content Guidelines. The same page also shows an incompatibility warning for Counter-Strike 2.
However, Market Mayhem is still visible in Steam’s broader CS2 Workshop map listings. Neither Team Liquid nor Duelbits had publicly explained the discrepancy when this article was prepared.
Duelbits Joined Team Liquid in November
Duelbits became the title sponsor of Team Liquid’s Counter-Strike 2 roster in November 2025. Team Liquid said at the time that the agreement would cover the team’s competitive activity, CS2 content, and fan experiences such as community tournaments.
The organization also said the partnership would focus on sports betting and introduced its own rules around responsible gambling, including visible disclaimers and support resources. Market Mayhem fits the fan-activation side of that agreement. Instead of limiting the deal to tournament exposure, Team Liquid and Duelbits have produced a standalone piece of game content and attached a competitive challenge to it.
For Duelbits, the format brings its sponsorship closer to how CS2 players already spend time with the game: training, comparing runs, and using community-made maps. The Steam removal notice is an immediate complication, though. A branded activation built inside a third-party community platform can lose distribution quickly if the platform restricts the content.
