St8 Records 7,000+ MCP Queries in Nine-Week Operator Test

The figures come from a focus group using St8’s Model Context Protocol integration. The company reported the first nine weeks of usage after launching the MCP.
Staff used natural-language requests to pull reports, check configurations and flag issues inside the aggregation platform. Usage was not evenly spread across the nine weeks.
August Had a 2,679-Query Week
The largest jump came in the week at the start of August. St8 recorded 2,679 queries as users collected monthly reports and invoice data. That was several times the level seen in an ordinary week.
Take that spike out of the total and the remaining eight weeks still account for over 4,321 queries and actions. That works out at above 540 per week.
The first measured week, starting July 19, had 490. The week starting September 6 reached 762. That is a 55.5% increase by 15M’s calculation. St8 reports the change as 55%.
There was another pattern in the daily data. Usage fell during Saturdays and Sundays and returned on Mondays.
The First Numbers Came 10 Days After Launch
St8 launched the MCP on July 9, while the usage period started on July 19. That puts the first measured activity just 10 days after the product launch.
The company did not disclose how many operators or individual users were in the focus group. That means the published numbers cannot be converted into requests per participant.
At launch, St8 described the MCP’s GraphQL operations as read-only. Access also follows the platform’s existing permission hierarchy for companies, operators and sites.
