SOFTSWISS Sportsbook Gets 94% of GGR From Mobile Devices

The company had first published both figures in September, when it announced a redesigned mobile sportsbook. Anton Lishchuk, Prediction Markets Commercial Strategist at SOFTSWISS, revisited the figures in the full Q&A.
Non-Mobile Bets Account for 11% of Turnover
Other devices account for the remaining 11% of betting turnover but only 6% of GGR. Mobile therefore contributes a larger share of revenue than of stakes across the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook network.
SOFTSWISS has not disclosed the reporting period or a breakdown by market.
Operators Can Change the Layout Without Development Work
Operators can enable the new layout, rearrange its sections through the CMS or switch back to the previous version. For bettors, the changes are more visible:
- Event selection. Horizontal carousels display live events, prematch matches and top leagues;
- Filtering. One selection updates the relevant sections instead of requiring separate changes;
- Bet building. A dedicated option brings popular markets together for accumulator bets.
Conversion Impact Remains Unclear
In the interview, Lishchuk said the aim was to reduce scrolling and the number of taps needed to find a bet. SOFTSWISS expects the shorter journey to support conversion, although results will depend on each operator’s audience and configuration.
Neither the September announcement nor the October interview provides before-and-after conversion figures.
