Scientific Games has appointed two executives to key digital leadership roles. Keshav Pitani joined as SVP, Digital Games.
Laura Higgins became VP, Customer Success & Strategy for the company’s global digital team. Both appointments target the company’s expanding digital business.
Scientific Games describes these as strategic hires for its digital operations. The company operates lottery services globally.
The company’s digital team is experiencing strong momentum right now. Scientific Games wants to build what it calls “an adaptable organisation with a clear focus on the future.”

Pitani previously worked seven years as Senior Director of Product Development at Bally Technologies. Scientific Games Corporation acquired Bally Technologies in 2014.
His background includes playing a key role in the 2022 launch of Light & Wonder. He also contributed to Scientific Games Corporation’s expansion into US and Canadian video lottery markets.
Pitani has led creation of digital and retail product verticals. He developed a real-time AI product for high-speed casino play and worked on satellite communication systems for Boeing 737 and 747 aircraft.
Higgins brings over 20 years of experience across e-commerce and general management. She’s held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Shutterfly, Albertsons and Gartner.
At Procter & Gamble, she served as Brand Director in the Home Care division. As General Manager of Category Expansion at Shutterfly, she developed new business categories.
Most recently at Albertsons, she was VP of Shopper Engagement Platforms. She led digital initiatives that enhanced retail customer experiences through AI-powered assistant technologies.
Pitani will oversee Scientific Games’ digital games strategy going forward. His role includes leading innovation initiatives across the digital games portfolio.
Higgins will drive customer success and digital growth programs. Her experience in identifying business opportunities should help expand the company’s digital reach.
Both appointments support what the company calls consumer-centric digital programs. Scientific Games wants to strengthen its position in the digital lottery market.
