LOW6 Acquires Splash Games as Rivalz Targets More US Operators

The deal was announced on October 9. LOW6 has worked mainly on free-to-play games for sports and entertainment brands, while Splash ran a consumer platform built around cash tournaments. Rivalz is the buyer’s B2B product for operators that want paid competitive games under their own brands.
Splash’s 3 Games Compared With Rivalz Portfolio
Splash Games was founded in Brighton. Its players could enter tournaments in Solitaire Splash, Bubble Splash and Word Splash. The service used skill-based matchmaking, with players competing for cash prizes.
LOW6’s existing projects have a different starting point. Its work includes free-to-play sports predictions, fantasy games and trivia. For example, the company has supplied an Over/Under game for bet365 and developed interactive entertainment titles for ITV.
Rivalz launched in 2026. The five games named in LOW6’s acquisition statement are blackjack, hold’em, 8-ball pool, colour sort and darts.
None of Splash’s three titles is named among those examples. LOW6 has not said whether any Splash games will be added to Rivalz.
Rivalz Live, More US Launches Planned
LOW6 says Rivalz is preparing to launch with several major US operators. Its skill gaming page also describes the platform as live with tier-one operators.
Neither page identifies the operators specifically using Rivalz. The company also gives no dates for the next US launches or revenue and contest volume figures for the platform.
Splash Games Stops Taking Players
Splash Games has stopped taking players. Its website carried a closure notice when checked on October 16. Games and app downloads are no longer available.
The date of the shutdown is missing. There is no statement on the website about the sale to LOW6.
NextGen Play Remains Active in UK Register
Splash Games is a trading name of NextGen Play Ltd. The UK Companies House entry still lists NextGen Play as active.
NextGen Play was incorporated on April 19, 2022. Its registered business activity is computer game publishing.
LOW6 has not specified which assets or intellectual property rights were included in the purchase. Sprey will handle commercial development for skill gaming, including contacts with operators, sports rights holders and entertainment brands.
