iGaming.com Launches wetten.de With 9-Bookmaker Acca Calculator
iGaming.com Group has launched wetten.de, a German sports betting comparison portal built around an accumulator calculator. The tool currently draws on odds from up to nine licensed bookmakers and ranks the resulting payouts after tax and acca bonuses are taken into account.

The portal went live on September 17, according to the group's launch announcement. It is operated by iG casino.de GmbH, part of iGaming.com Group.

Users can build an accumulator from available football markets and enter a stake. The calculator then ranks bookmakers by the final payout rather than displaying odds alone.

Germany's sports betting tax is set at 5.3%, although operators handle the cost differently. The rate is established under Section 18 of the Race Betting and Lottery Act.

Up to Nine Books Feed the Payout Ranking

wetten.de says its wider bookmaker comparison covers 21 licensed operators. The accumulator calculator currently draws on up to nine of them, including bet365, bwin, Betano and Interwetten. That puts 42.9% of the portal's bookmaker set inside the live calculator at launch, based on 15M's calculation.

Tax treatment creates another split. Five of the 21 bookmakers in the comparison absorb the betting tax across their offers, while two more cover it specifically on accumulators. On that basis, seven operators, or 33.3% of the comparison set, can leave an acca payout unaffected by a customer-side tax deduction under the rules listed by wetten.de.

The calculator also applies each operator's accumulator bonus. Depending on the number of selections, those bonuses can further change the final ranking even where the underlying odds are similar.

Comparison Ends With an Operator Click

15M checked the live wetten.de product on September 18. The page was displaying odds from nine bookmakers and a separate payout-ranking area for completed accumulators.

Each result can then send the user to the bookmaker. The portal is funded through affiliate commissions, although wetten.de says these payments do not affect its rankings.

The site has several other routes into the same operator comparison. They include daily betting tips, odds boosts, a system-bet calculator and a finder covering 1,223 betting shops in Germany.

Licensed Operators Only

Only operators with a valid German licence are meant to appear on the platform. Germany's official GGL whitelist is the regulatory reference for authorised gambling companies and domains.

For iGaming.com, wetten.de adds a sports betting counterpart to casino.de, another German comparison brand launched by the group at the end of August.
