CUPIS Wallet and Card Reach 15% of Russian Betting Payouts

The figures appeared in an October 15 update from Unified CUPIS, which processes payments between licensed Russian bookmakers and their customers.
Players can receive winnings through several channels, including bank accounts, cards, Russia’s Faster Payments System (SBP), and CUPIS’s own wallet and digital card.
CUPIS Gains 5 Percentage Points in Payout Share
The latest figures show a change in how these transactions are distributed:
- 15% of payouts now go through the CUPIS wallet or digital card.
- Approximately 10% used these instruments a year earlier.
- 5 percentage points is the increase in their combined share.
- More than 30% is the year-on-year growth in payout transactions for January-September 2026.
The shift from 10% to 15% represents a relative increase of around 50%. That puts CUPIS’s products at approximately one in every seven payout transactions, while other payment methods still account for about 85%.
Previous Figures Suggest Around 14.7M Transfers
CUPIS did not publish an absolute transaction count for the first nine months of 2026. Its earlier disclosures, however, provide a basis for an estimate. According to an October 2025 company statement published by Vedomosti, customers made more than 11.3 million bookmaker withdrawals to the wallet and digital card between January and September 2025.
Applying the newly reported growth rate of more than 30% suggests at least approximately 14.7 million transactions for the comparable period in 2026. This is a 15M calculation based on the company’s published figures, not a transaction total confirmed in its latest announcement. The estimate is approximate because the earlier figure was rounded.
The two figures cover different periods. The 30% increase was measured over January-September, while the 15% share reflects the current level. They cannot be used to calculate total bookmaker payouts for the nine-month period.
CUPIS Claims Payouts Arrive Within 5 Seconds
Artem Sychev, Unified CUPIS board member and commercial director, said customers receive funds in their wallet or digital card in less than five seconds and can use them immediately. The announcement does not provide an independently verified speed measurement or explain how the figure was calculated.
The 15% share covers wallet and digital card payouts combined. CUPIS gave no separate figures for either product, nor did it disclose the total value of withdrawals or the processing fees paid by bookmakers.
