BetMGM Introduces Shared Jackpots Across Michigan Casino Portfolio
BetMGM has launched a new progressive jackpot feature in Michigan, allowing online casino players to enter shared prize pools across more than 200 eligible games.

The operator added the option directly to its existing casino platform. Players can place a separate SideBet for a chance to win one of four jackpot levels while continuing to play the original casino game as usual.

SideBet Creates Four Prize Categories

The new BetMGM Jackpots feature uses an additional $0.10 wager attached to supported casino games. Every qualifying SideBet contributes to a common jackpot network.

The available prize levels are:

  • Mini, starting at $100;
  • Minor, starting at $6,000;
  • Major, starting at $30,000;
  • Mega, starting at $500,000.

The Mega Jackpot has already grown above $618,000. The value changes as more players take part in the feature and additional SideBets are placed.

The jackpot result is separate from the main game outcome. A player’s regular slot spin or casino round is not changed by activating the additional wager.

More Than 200 Games Included At Launch

BetMGM said the jackpot system is available across more than 200 casino titles in Michigan. The feature allows players to see participating games, current jackpot values and recent winners through the casino interface.

The company placed the option inside its existing platform instead of creating a separate product. Users can manage the feature from the casino homepage, promotional settings or directly within supported games.

Players who do not want to join the jackpot pools can continue using the games without the extra wager.

Expansion Will Require Local Approval

The Michigan launch is the first market for the new feature. BetMGM said it plans to bring the jackpot system to additional jurisdictions later in the year, subject to regulatory approval.

The operator currently offers more than 7,000 online casino titles across North America. BetMGM has not disclosed which markets could receive the jackpot feature next.

Each state regulator will review the feature separately, meaning BetMGM will need approval before launching it in other markets. For now, the jackpot system remains available to Michigan players, with no further rollout dates announced by the operator.
