1xBet Responds to 15M Report on Nigeria Health Ministry Posts

1xBet has sent an official statement to 15M regarding betting guides found on Nigeria’s health ministry website. The company says it had no involvement in publishing the material and has contacted the government website’s administrators to request its removal.

The statement followed 15M’s earlier report on articles appearing under health.gov.ng. The pages carried an October 15, 2026 publication date and were listed in the Press Release section.

In its response to 15M on October 16, the company provided the following statement:

1xBet officially states that the company has no connection to the preparation or placement of materials mentioning our brand on the website of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Nigeria (health.gov.ng).

The company did not create these texts, did not instruct third parties to publish them, and did not authorize their placement on a government portal. These publications do not represent official statements or content from 1xBet.

We have already notified the health.gov.ng administration about the posts in question and requested that they remove the content published without the company’s consent.

We are committed to resolving this situation as soon as possible, as it may mislead users regarding the origin of these posts.

Betting Page Still Available on October 16

15M checked the Uzbek-language app guide again on October 16. It remained accessible, dated October 15 and credited to “admin.”

The original review covered at least 12 pages in Russian, Uzbek and Azerbaijani, including app guides, bonuses and external links.

Who uploaded the material remains unknown. 15M has not independently confirmed the removal request with the ministry.
