Wazdan’s Green Brick Labs partnership is in its live market phase in Ontario. According to the supplier, Maverick Games has released its first set of Wazdan slots, which include Mighty Wild: Gorilla and 36 Coins. As the supplier noted, this rollout adds several of the studio’s distinctive game mechanics to the operator’s offering.
First Operational Step in the GBL Tie-Up
Wazdan representatives described the Ontario rollout as a significant operational milestone of their partnership with Green Brick Labs. According to Magdalena Wojdyla, Wazdan’s Head of Account Management, this partnership could help Maverick Games further strengthen its market position.
There is also some broader platform context behind this agreement. In 2024, Green Brick Labs was building towards the launch of Maverick Games, and Maverick’s sportsbook went live in Ontario with Delasport in June 2025. The Wazdan launch with Maverick Games suggests the operator is continuing to build out its gaming offering around that existing market presence.
That gives the rollout added relevance, as Ontario remains one of North America’s most closely watched regulated iGaming markets for supplier and operator expansion.
Strategic Value Behind the Launch
From the perspective of Wazdan, the value of this partnership lies in distribution within the regulated market. The company referred to its Maverick launch as part of its overall rollout in licensed jurisdictions, working with local platforms to expand its reach.
The upsides for Maverick Games and Green Brick Labs also look clear. Through this agreement, Maverick gets an early Wazdan gaming package on its platform. This means the operator can benefit from the addition of content immediately, rather than integrating it game-by-game.
For GBL, this partnership could be the demonstration of how its aggregation layer can connect operators with established suppliers.
