ThrillTech Secures LOTBA Supplier Registration in Buenos Aires

The company’s announcement identifies the approval as a registration for supplying online gaming technology. ThrillPots adds voluntary side bets to casino games and sportsbooks. Players who opt in fund progressive jackpot pools, while the underlying games retain their certified return-to-player rates.

Amy Santos, ThrillTech’s chief operating officer, called the registration "another important step in our continued expansion across Latin America."

The Approval Covers Suppliers, Not Operators

Buenos Aires City has its own gambling rules. Under LOTBA’s 2021 regulatory framework, registrations for online gaming suppliers and components are handled separately from authorisations for gambling operators.

A check of LOTBA’s public list of authorised online gaming agencies found 11 authorisation entries. ThrillTech can now approach locally licensed operators about integrating ThrillPots into their platforms.

Supplier registration clears an important regulatory step, but the technology still needs an operator integration before players can use it. For affiliates targeting Buenos Aires City, the announcement alone brings no new operator offer to promote.

No Buenos Aires Operator Named Yet

ThrillTech had a distribution partner to name in its previous expansion announcement. Honoré Gaming agreed to carry ThrillPots through its platform for operators in Africa and Latin America, as 15M reported on October 31.

The Buenos Aires announcement has no comparable customer detail. ThrillTech has not identified a local casino or sportsbook that will use ThrillPots. Its November 5 statement also leaves the launch date open.
