SportPesa Sets 4-City Kenya Pool Circuit Through January

SportPesa is putting a new national pool competition on the Kenyan calendar from September 21 through January 10. Its main stage will visit Eldoret, Nakuru and Mombasa before the final in Nairobi.

The operator announced the SportPesa National Pool Circuit on September 10 with Cuevolution Plus Africa. It described the backing as a multimillion investment, without giving an exact amount.

Entry starts at grassroots level. Competitions will run across local venues from September 21 to October 4, followed by regional championships. The circuit uses Black Ball Rules.

Four dates then take the competition into 2027:

Eldoret – November 6-8;
Nakuru – November 20-22;
Mombasa – December 4-6;
Nairobi – January 8-10.

Nairobi hosts the national final.

SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri said the investment was part of the company’s work in “supporting sports beyond the traditional disciplines.” Cuevolution Plus Africa is handling the pool side of the project.

Eight Days Between Two SportPesa Circuits

SportPesa already has another national circuit running in Kenya. The 2026 SportPesa National Sevens Circuit opened in Nakuru on July 25. Six rounds take it through Nakuru, Kisumu, Nairobi, Mombasa and Embu before the Christie Sevens closes the season in Nairobi on September 12–13.

Pool qualifying begins September 21, so the gap is eight days. That puts the two programs almost back to back. Rugby carries the SportPesa name through the Kenyan winter and into September. Pool picks it up later that month and continues into January.

No betting product or affiliate changes were announced with the pool circuit. The first main stop follows in Eldoret on November 6.
