Playson just signed a supply deal with High Flyer Casino. The Malta-based game developer will add its slot titles to the Ontario-licensed operator’s platform.
The partnership marks another step in Playson’s North American push. They’ve been working in Ontario since getting their license back in 2022.
High Flyer Casino operates under Ontario’s regulated online gambling framework. The operator has been building its game library since launching in the province.
Why This Deal Fits Playson’s North American Plans
Ontario has become a priority market for Playson. The province’s regulated structure offers stability that many suppliers want. And the player base is substantial.
Playson already operates in 26 regulated markets worldwide. They count over 200 partners across their global network. But North America presents specific opportunities.
The company moved into the US sweepstakes sector last year through High 5 Casino. That deal showed Playson’s interest in different North American market segments.
Ontario’s regulated setup offers a different entry point entirely.
Connor Jenner, Sales Manager at Playson, said Ontario “has quickly become a key territory for us.” He called the High Flyer partnership a way to broaden market reach and get content “accessed by more players than ever before.”
What Games Ontario Players Get Access To
High Flyer Casino will add Playson’s Hold and Win titles to its platform.
Three games are specifically mentioned: Coin Strike 2, Thunder Coins XXL, and 4 Pots Riches. The Hold and Win mechanic has gained traction in North American markets over the past couple years.
These titles are mobile-optimized, which matters since most Ontario players use phones. Playson emphasized this mobile-first approach in their announcement about supplying “mobile-optimised content to regulated markets.”
Man Mac, Head of Marketing at High Flyer Casino, noted that Playson “fits perfectly” with their studio selection criteria. He said the Hold and Win titles are “proven hits in North America and beyond.”
How This Positions Both Companies Going Forward
For Playson, each new operator deal expands their North American footprint. Ontario’s player base gives suppliers meaningful scale opportunities that weren’t available before provincial regulation kicked in.
The timing aligns with Playson’s broader 2025 strategy. They’ve focused heavily on Latin America this year, including a deal with Cactus Gaming in Brazil earlier in the year.
So North America isn’t their only priority. But it’s clearly important.
High Flyer Casino adds proven content to its expanding library. The operator is building out its slot selection to compete in Ontario’s crowded market. More game variety typically helps retention rates, especially when the titles already have player recognition.
The deal won’t reshape either company’s position overnight. But it’s another data point showing Ontario’s appeal to European suppliers looking for stable regulated markets.
