Peter & Sons Games Launch on Danish State Operator’s Casino Platform

International game studio goes live on Danske Licens Spil's casino platform with full portfolio

Peter & Sons just went live on Danske Licens Spil’s casino platform. The game studio can now offer its full portfolio to Danish players.

Danske Spil is Denmark’s oldest gambling operator. Founded in 1948, it’s also the country’s largest, with annual revenues over DKK 5 billion (£577 million). The state-owned company runs the Danske Spil Casino platform.

The partnership gives Peter & Sons access to Denmark’s biggest gambling audience. Danske Spil Casino is deeply embedded in local gaming culture and widely trusted by players.

“We’ve seen strong performance in Denmark,” said Yann Bautista, Commercial Director and Founder at Peter & Sons. “Teaming up with Danske Spil allows us to broaden our player base there via a platform that’s widely trusted.”

Bautista added: “Danske Spil Casino is a flagship brand, and we’re proud to have our content featured on its platform.”

The rollout happened through Peter & Sons’ global distribution deal with Light & Wonder. That supplier giant has been a strategic partner of Danske Licens Spil for years. This existing relationship made the integration smoother.

Players can try titles like Barbarossa, Xibalba, Wild 1 and Voodoo Hex. Newer releases include Barbarossa Revenge and Muddy Waters.

The studio’s latest game, Ghostfather – Awakened, is also available. It’s described as “spookily off-kilter.”

Peter & Sons is known for offbeat creative direction. They reportedly mix modern maths models with unique art styles that appeal to both casual and experienced players. Their games reportedly feature imaginative themes that stand out from typical casino content.

The operator has stressed the importance of responsible gaming, integrity and compliance in all supplier partnerships. As a state-owned company, these values are expected to be reflected in their business model.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Peter & Sons to our platform,” said Simon Hoffmann Riis at Danske Spil. “Their distinct art style, strong game mechanics and imaginative themes bring something truly new and exciting to our players.”

Riis added: “Danske Spil is committed to offering a diverse and safe gaming environment, and working with innovative developers like Peter & Sons helps us fulfil that promise.”

The deal supports Danske Spil’s goal of offering a diverse range of gaming options. Working with developers helps them deliver on promises to provide a safe gaming environment.

This partnership shows how established operators are partnering with creative studios. It gives players access to unique content while maintaining regulatory standards.

In October 2025, Peter & Sons officially partnered with Light & Wonders for global game distribution. The partnership enabled Peter & Sons to distribute its games globally after the company received licences in multiple regulated markets, including the UK, Europe, and Canada.
