Inspired launches Canada’s first branded Hybrid Dealer Roulette game on Loto-Québec platform

Gaming provider partners with Loto-Québec to debut online casino product

Inspired Entertainment released its first branded Hybrid Dealer Roulette game in Canada this week. The NASDAQ-listed company partnered with Loto-Québec for the launch.

The game went live on Loto-Québec’s platform. It’s the first of this type to operate in Canada.

Brooks Pierce serves as President and CEO of Inspired Entertainment. The company describes itself as a B2B gaming content provider that supplies systems and solutions to operators.

Loto-Québec operates as Quebec’s provincial gaming organisation. François Hardy works there as Senior Director and was involved in the launch decision.

The partnership represents Inspired’s entry into the Quebec online casino market. The province operates under separate gaming regulations from other Canadian jurisdictions.

The Hybrid Dealer product combines virtual CGI graphics with pre-recorded hosts. It also includes multiplayer features for online players.

Traditional online casino games typically use software-generated results and automated systems. This product uses what Inspired calls a “patented” approach to game design.

“This launch underscores our commitment to enhancing the player experience through innovative solutions,” Hardy said in a statement.

The game aims to recreate casino atmosphere in digital format. Most online roulette games don’t include social interaction features or live dealer elements.

Inspired developed the Hybrid Dealer category to bridge traditional casino gameplay with gameshow entertainment. The company positions it as filling a gap in the online gaming market.

The roulette game features synchronised results and countdown betting timers. Players can access leaderboards and live chat functions during gameplay.

The system combines virtual graphics with pre-recorded dealer footage. Audio-visual elements are integrated throughout the gaming experience.

Players can interact with each other during game sessions. The chat feature allows communication between participants in real-time.

Betting works on timed intervals with countdown displays. Results sync across all players participating in each session.

The game runs on Loto-Québec’s existing online platform. No separate app or download is required for players to access it.

Sessions include features designed to replicate a live casino atmosphere. This includes the social gaming environment that traditional online games typically lack.

Inspired holds patents on the Hybrid Dealer technology. The company developed the product category through internal research and development.

“This innovative product exemplifies our dedication to delivering engaging, social, and captivating gaming experiences,” Pierce said in the announcement.

The company supplies gaming content to operators across different international markets. This marks their entry into the Quebec online casino space specifically.

Loto-Québec becomes the first Canadian operator to offer this specific game type. Other provincial operators haven’t announced similar partnerships with Inspired.

Inspired trades on NASDAQ under the symbol INSE. The company operates as a business-to-business provider rather than directly serving consumers.

The launch gives the company access to Quebec’s regulated online gaming market. This could potentially lead to expansion into other Canadian provinces.
