Genius Sports Launches Prediction.com for Event-Market Comparison

Genius Sports Launches Prediction.com for Event-Market Comparison
Genius Sports has launched Prediction.com, a site that lets users compare event contracts across several prediction-market platforms. It does not run a trading venue of its own and can instead send users to third-party operators.

Prediction.com went live on September 17 through Legend, the consumer business owned by Genius Sports. The launch announcement lists contract comparison, live probabilities and multi-leg market tools among the main features.

Sports pages also combine contract prices with live game information. That includes scores, play-by-play data and changes in market probabilities.

Trading Happens Elsewhere

As the terms published on Prediction.com say, the service provides information and analytics and does not execute trades or hold user funds. The same document notes that Prediction.com may have referral relationships with trading venues linked from the site.

The live product already shows how that works. Kalshi, Polymarket US, ProphetX and Underdog appear with sign-up offers, while individual market pages can direct users outside Prediction.com to trade.

So Genius is putting a comparison site in front of the existing venues.

$32M Became $12.6B

There is also much more activity to compare than two years ago. A May SOFTSWISS report put prediction-market transaction volume at $32 million in January 2024 and $12.6 billion in January 2026.

That works out to 393.75 times more volume, based on the two monthly figures, or roughly 39,275% growth, according to 15M calculations.

The $12.6 billion figure is not September volume. It refers specifically to January 2026. Transaction volume is also not necessarily comparable with sportsbook handle.

Affiliate Angle

The useful part for affiliates is not the market-size number by itself. Prediction.com now puts comparison, offers and outbound links in the same product. A user can check a contract on several venues and then leave for one of those platforms.

No CPA, revenue-share or other commercial terms have been disclosed. The terms only say referral relationships may exist.

Still, the setup is notable. Prediction markets are beginning to get a separate comparison layer, similar to what already exists around sportsbooks and casinos. Genius Sports has chosen to enter that layer rather than launch a trading venue.
