City Center Online Enters Santa Fe Sports Betting Market

Previously, City Center Online concentrated its attention on online casino products. The integration gives the operator access to a full sportsbook product, including live betting markets.
The technical integration was implemented by ONDISS. The Argentine company already powers City Center Online’s casino platform and used the integration to expand the operator’s product range.
Casino Operator Adds a Second Vertical
The rollout offers a chance for City Center Online to target players moving from one type of gaming to another. The integration allowed City Center Online to add sports betting through its existing ONDISS-powered platform rather than build a sportsbook engine internally.
According to Tom Light, FIRST founder and CEO, the product was designed to provide speed, control, and greater product depth. ONDISS also emphasized that the speed of settlement and variety of real-time markets were important elements of the launch.
Neither company disclosed performance data, betting volumes, or the number of casino customers who have moved into the new sports vertical.
Santa Fe Opens a New Competitive Route
The launch comes as Santa Fe implements its regulated online sports betting framework. Santa Fe established its legal framework for online betting under Law 14,235 in 2023. Lawmakers approved the tender documents under Law 14,427 in December 2025, allowing the licensing process to move forward.
There is no single national license for online betting in Argentina. Regulations and licenses are issued by provinces independently. This is an opportunity for growth, but also adds to the complexity of operation for companies that operate in several provinces.
The tender did not set a maximum number of licenses. Any bid meeting the legal, technical, and financial requirements could qualify, and six applicants were ultimately selected. Licensees must support real-time monitoring and ensure the traceability of betting operations.
The City Center Online launch thus involves a significant regulatory aspect. Its sportsbook must fit the province’s monitoring and responsible gaming rules.
FIRST Gains a Local Entry Point
The agreement provides FIRST with access to Argentina via two companies with an established working relationship. ONDISS could potentially extend the integration to other platform clients, subject to commercial agreements and local regulatory approval. City Center Online provides FIRST with its first announced deployment in Argentina, while ONDISS handled the platform integration.
Santa Fe remains an early-stage regulated betting market. Product speed may help City Center Online compete, but local execution will decide the result. Reliable settlement, provincial compliance and a smooth link between casino and sports will carry greater weight than the launch announcement.
