1/ST Content struck a deal with Turkey’s Jockey Club (Türkiye Jokey Kulübü, or TJK) to bring Turkish racing content to American and Canadian bettors. The partnership went live this week across web and mobile platforms in approved jurisdictions.
It’s the first time Turkish racing has been available through Advance Deposit Wagering in North America. The content sits on Premier Gateway International and runs through 1/ST Technology’s AmTote platform.
Distribution extends beyond North America through existing 1/ST partners. That includes Racing1, which handles content from ARC, RMG, and Tabcorp. Sky Racing World carries it in North America too.
Why Turkish Racing Matters for Betting Markets
North American bettors get access to new racing inventory with competitive field sizes. Turkish racing features established events like the Gazi Derby, Bosphorus Cup, and Topkapi Trophy.
The integration enables international pool commingling. Bettors in Australia, Germany, and other markets can now access Turkish racing content. This creates larger betting pools across multiple jurisdictions.
1/ST’s global network now connects more racing markets together. Turkish content fills gaps in North American racing schedules and gives bettors more options throughout the day.
What the Technical Integration Delivers
The AmTote platform handles all betting operations for Turkish races. Bettors can place Win, Place, and Show wagers on the new content.
Exotic bet types work too. That means Exacta, Quinella, and Trifecta bets are available. The platform also supports Double and Pick 4 wagers.
The Turkish content flows through the same distribution channels 1/ST uses for other international racing. No separate system needed for operators who already carry 1/ST content.
How This Fits 1/ST’s Global Strategy
Simon Fraser, SVP of International at 1/ST Content, called the deal another example of the company’s agility across betting formats. “Turkish racing is the latest example, seamlessly delivered through the technology of our AmTote platform,” he said.
TJK’s CEO Tuncel Aydın pointed to AmTote’s technical reliability as a key factor. “We’ve been truly impressed by the accuracy and reliability of 1/ST CONTENT and AmTote’s betting technology and distribution,” he said.
The Turkish partnership follows 1/ST’s September deal with Italy’s agriculture ministry. That agreement opened pool betting access for Turkish, North American, and South American racing in Italy. The timing came just before the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
The Italian deal and Turkish partnership show 1/ST building connections between previously separate racing markets. Each new jurisdiction adds content and increases pool sizes for existing partners.
