Yggdrasil partners with Betespecial for Brazilian market

Yggdrasil teams up with Betespecial to expand in Brazilian iGaming market
Swedish supplier adds another Brazilian operator to its growing Latin American portfolio

Yggdrasil signed a distribution deal with Betespecial this week. The Brazilian operator will now offer Yggdrasil’s full slot portfolio to its players.

Betespecial operates online gambling sites in Brazil’s newly regulated market. The operator joins other Brazilian platforms already distributing Yggdrasil content.

Jose Kadala serves as Yggdrasil’s Chief Commercial Officer. He oversees the supplier’s expansion efforts across Latin America.

Douglas McRae manages promotions at Betespecial. He’ll handle the integration of Yggdrasil titles onto the platform.

Why Yggdrasil Keeps Targeting Brazilian Operators

Brazil’s gambling market changed dramatically over the past year. Regulation brought major international suppliers into the country.

Yggdrasil already distributes games across several Latin American markets. The company sees strong player demand for its titles in the region.

Brazilian players favour visually rich slot games with bonus features. This matches Yggdrasil’s design approach. The supplier’s portfolio includes both high-volatility titles and more casual games.

The deal gives Yggdrasil another distribution channel in Brazil’s competitive market. More operator partnerships mean wider visibility for new releases.

What Content Betespecial Players Get Access To

The agreement covers Yggdrasil’s main portfolio plus selected YGG Masters titles. Recent releases like MexoMax 2 and Scara-Bucks will go live on Betespecial’s platform.

Established titles are included, too. Raptor DoubleMax and the Valley of the Gods series both feature in the deal.

YGG Masters games come from over 25 independent studios. Betespecial will carry selected titles from this collection, though specific games weren’t named.

These titles already perform in other Latin American markets. Yggdrasil tested them in similar regions before this Brazilian rollout.

The supplier recently cut a separate deal with Aristocrat Interactive. That partnership gave Aristocrat exclusive US and Ontario rights to Yggdrasil games like Valley of the Dead OnlyWins and Aphrodite Goes Wild Rushing Wilds.

How This Deal Fits Brazil’s Operator Landscape

Brazilian operators compete hard for player attention. Content differentiation matters more now than during the grey market period.

McRae said Yggdrasil’s “wealth of history in not just game creation, but in consistently driving innovation in slot development” made them attractive. He thinks Betespecial’s customers will “absolutely love to immerse themselves in their titles.”

Kadala called the partnership “a great milestone for us as we continue to keep on growing our market share in Brazil.” He said Yggdrasil’s titles suit “the vibrant desires” of Brazilian players.

The deal doesn’t give Betespecial exclusivity. Yggdrasil can still sign with competing Brazilian operators. This multi-operator strategy helps suppliers maximise their Brazilian presence quickly.
