Yggdrasil Launches First Game in US With Caesars
Yggdrasil has made its first move into the regulated US online casino market. Its content is now available through three Caesars brands in New Jersey and Michigan.

The launch begins with Valley of the Gods, a slot first released in 2017. Caesars has added the title to Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino in both states.

One Game Opens the US Rollout

The game has a 5×5 grid and the theme of Ancient Egypt. Features include respins, multipliers, extra lives, and hidden treasure blocks. Yggdrasil plans to introduce more games in the coming months, although no release schedule or list of titles has been disclosed.

Starting with one established title may allow both parties to assess the initial rollout. Caesars can monitor its performance across several brands, while Yggdrasil can gather early data from the US market.

Aristocrat Deal Reaches the Operator Stage

Yggdrasil signed an exclusive North American distribution deal with Aristocrat Interactive in January 2025. The agreement gave Aristocrat exclusive rights to distribute its content across regulated US markets and Ontario through the Ignite platform.

The Caesars launch is an implementation of the previous distribution agreement. Moreover, it demonstrates how suppliers may enter the fragmented US market without having to establish a unique distribution network for each of the casino brands.

The rollout gives Yggdrasil an immediate presence in two established US iGaming jurisdictions through three Caesars casino brands. The three platforms give the provider exposure to different customer groups.

State-by-State Growth Remains the Main Challenge

Yggdrasil described the launch as the first of several potential opportunities in North America. Caesars said it looked forward to developing the partnership, but neither company announced additional states.

New Jersey and Michigan offer established starting points because both regulate online casino gaming and have active operator platforms. Further expansion into other jurisdictions will mean obtaining additional approvals and deals. The collaboration in the US does not necessarily mean access throughout the entire country due to the decentralized regulation of online casinos.

Further development will hinge upon game approval, technical certification, and operator decision-making within each of the jurisdictions. It will also reveal how Caesars is going to treat Yggdrasil – as just one more catalog item or as a studio of broader representation.

Bottom Line

The true test will be how quickly the catalog becomes available. Valley of the Gods provides Yggdrasil with an easily identifiable name to start with, but the commercial value of the collaboration will become clearer when the Caesars collection grows further, and Yggdrasil demonstrates how effective its portfolio is in New Jersey and Michigan.
