Caesars Digital has secured the betting rights at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas through its William Hill brand. The deal ends the casino’s relationship with its previous wagering provider.
Property president Cliff Atkinson made the announcement yesterday. He called the Caesars-owned company the ideal match for their guest experience goals.
The new operator brings major league partnerships to the property. William Hill holds official deals with both the NFL and NHL.
Local team partnerships include the Golden Knights and Raiders. Both franchises maintain direct relationships with the betting company.
Caesars acquired the William Hill brand in April 2021. The purchase price reached approximately $4 billion.
Why the Property Switched Operators
Current betting options weren’t meeting guest demands. Atkinson said they wanted to “redefine” their wagering experience and better reflect the resort’s innovative brand.
The property needed expanded betting choices. Technology integration was also lacking compared to competitor offerings.
William Hill’s Nevada track record influenced the decision. Dan Shapiro from the company highlighted their unique product lineup in the state.
Mobile access was a key factor. Guests can now download the Nevada app and handle money transactions directly at the resort.
This creates what Shapiro described as seamless betting integration.
What the Partnership Includes
The operator will expand wagering options throughout the casino. More retail betting stations are planned across the property.
Direct mobile app access launches for all guests. The William Hill Nevada platform connects to on-site cash handling.
Virgin Hotels operates Cherry Rewards for loyalty members. The March launch covers dining, retail, gaming and amenities.
John Fechik joined as casino marketing SVP in March. His role includes driving guest growth and experience improvements.
How This Affects Competition
The partnership should draw new visitors to the property. William Hill’s existing customer network could increase foot traffic.
Mobile integration changes guest betting behavior. On-site cash handling removes common wagering barriers.
The loyalty program now supports broader strategy. Cherry Rewards points extend to all betting activities.
This move puts Virgin Hotels alongside major Strip properties. Most premium resorts offer integrated betting through established national operators.
The change reflects growing demand for comprehensive gaming experiences. Guests expect mobile connectivity paired with physical betting locations.
