St8 secures Ontario supplier license from AGCO
Casino games aggregator gains access to Canadian province's regulated operator market

St8 received a supplier license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario yesterday. The casino games aggregator can now work with regulated operators throughout the province.

This marks St8’s second major license approval in recent months. The company also secured a remote gambling software license from the UK Gambling Commission earlier this year. Both approvals support the company’s international expansion strategy.

St8’s founder and CEO is Vladimir Negine. The company currently holds certifications in Malta, Romania, Anjouan and the Isle of Man. These jurisdictions represent some of the industry’s most established licensing bodies.

Why This License Opens Strategic Opportunities

Ontario has become one of the world’s most competitive iGaming markets since opening to private operators. The province’s regulatory framework attracts major operators looking for North American growth.

St8’s approval lets the company offer thousands of online casino games through a single API. Operators get access to premium content without managing complex integration work with multiple providers.

The license fits into St8’s broader plan to partner with operators in high-value regulated markets. These partnerships typically generate more stable revenue than unregulated jurisdictions. And they provide better long-term business relationships.

The company stated that “this latest approval marks a key step in St8’s strategy to partner with leading operators in high-value, regulated markets.”

What St8 Can Now Offer Ontario Operators

The supplier license permits St8 to provide its full product suite to Ontario’s licensed operators. This includes the company’s complete game aggregation platform.

St8’s technology combines thousands of casino titles from multiple providers into one integration point. Operators don’t need separate commercial deals with individual game studios. This simplifies operations considerably.

Negine said Ontario “has quickly become one of the most competitive and forward-thinking iGaming markets in the world.” He added that St8 is “excited to bring our modern aggregation platform to operators in the province.”

The CEO emphasised the company’s focus on combining “premium content with frictionless technology.” This license lets St8 “deliver exactly that to partners in Ontario.”

How This Affects Ontario’s Gaming Landscape

St8’s entry adds another aggregation option for Ontario operators. More competition among suppliers typically benefits operators through better commercial terms and improved service standards.

The approval shows AGCO’s continued licensing of international suppliers. This trend has accelerated since Ontario’s regulated market opened in 2022.

Game development studio Evoplay recently expanded in Ontario too. The company partnered with Caesars Entertainment to integrate games onto Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.

Players in Ontario now have access to 20 Evoplay titles through Caesars’ platforms. These include Hot Triple Sevens, Triple Chili and The Greatest Catch Bonus Buy.
