Sportsbet.io Takes Tottenham Betting Rights for North America and Africa
Sportsbet.io has signed a three-year agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for betting sponsorship rights in North America and Africa.
The deal starts in the 2026/27 season. Tottenham announced the partnership on September 14. No contract value was given at the time of this check.
Sportsbet.io will use the title Official North America & Africa Betting Partner. Tottenham said the partnership will include digital content and work aimed at supporters in the two regions.
The club also put a regulatory condition into the announcement. Any activation is subject to local rules and football’s gambling sponsorship code.
Deal Runs Through Three Football Seasons
The stated term is three years. Starting with 2026/27, that gives Sportsbet.io the Tottenham rights for 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29.
The territorial split is the more unusual part of the deal. Sportsbet.io is not taking a global betting designation. North America and Africa are named separately.
Tottenham already has another betting partner assigned to other markets. As 15M reported in July, Betano signed its own three-year Tottenham agreement. For 2026/27, Betano remains Tottenham’s men’s training wear partner. Betano’s betting role starts a year later.
Its Europe and Latin America betting rights begin with the 2027/28 season. Sportsbet.io starts in 2026/27 with North America and Africa.
So during that first season, Sportsbet.io already has a betting designation at the club. Betano does not yet have one.
From 2027/28, both deals are running, but for different parts of the world.
US Is on Sportsbet.io’s Restricted List
The United States is currently named on Sportsbet.io’s restricted jurisdictions list. There are African markets on the list too. They include South Africa, Cameroon, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Sportsbet.io says customers in restricted jurisdictions cannot register or play.
The North America and Africa wording in the Tottenham deal is therefore wider than the operator’s current player availability. Tottenham itself also says partnership activity will depend on local regulation.
Sportsbet.io Adds Another Sports Deal
Sportsbet.io already has other sponsorships outside Tottenham. In snooker, it became title partner of the Players Championship, Tour Championship and Champion of Champions. The World Snooker Tour deal covers the 2025 and 2026 editions.
The Tottenham agreement runs for three football seasons.
