Scientific Games adds Evoplay iLottery to Content Hub
Partnership brings instant win games and adventure content to operator's platform

Evoplay’s iLottery portfolio is now available through Scientific Games’ Content Hub. The integration connects Evoplay’s game library with Scientific Games’ lottery customers worldwide.

Scientific Games operates its Content Hub as a distribution platform for multiple lottery providers. The hub launched with the DC Lottery back in July.

Blair Johnson serves as VP of Digital Content Strategy at Scientific Games. He praised Evoplay’s approach to game design in yesterday’s announcement.

Why this partnership matters for iLottery

Scientific Games wanted content that matches modern player expectations. Evoplay builds games with extended play value similar to mainstream video games.

The partnership gives Scientific Games’ lottery clients access to different game formats. These include instant win, spin to win, and adventure-style content that lottery players don’t usually see.

“We selected Evoplay as a partner because they build world-class games offering unique game experiences,” Johnson said. He noted their focus on responsible gaming aligns with Scientific Games’ approach.

The deal addresses a specific gap. Traditional lottery content doesn’t always connect with younger demographics. Adventure quest games and modern mechanics might change that equation.

What Evoplay brings to the deal

Evoplay’s portfolio covers several lottery categories. The games available through the Content Hub include instant win, spin to win, bingo, and jackpot titles.

Adventure quest games, regional content, and festive holiday options complete the lineup. Frank Cecchini heads lottery operations at Evoplay. “We are immensely proud to be able to bring our award-winning games to the SG Content Hub,” he said.

Scientific Games has been busy expanding its lottery operations. The company extended its Ohio Lottery deal for another decade earlier this month.

It also finished system upgrades for North Dakota Lottery and Lotto New Zealand during Q4. These projects show Scientific Games’ continued focus on its lottery business.

Evoplay hasn’t been sitting still either. The studio entered Ontario’s market in September through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment. That deal marked another step in Evoplay’s North American expansion.

How this changes lottery content distribution

The Content Hub model lets Scientific Games add new providers without building everything in-house. Lotteries using the platform get immediate access to Evoplay’s catalogue.

This approach differs from traditional lottery content distribution. Instead of negotiating separate deals, lottery operators can tap multiple studios through one platform.

Cecchini sees the partnership as a growth opportunity. Working with “one of the world’s foremost lottery games, technology and service providers” helps Evoplay reach more lottery customers, he noted.

The deal supports lotteries trying to attract different player types. Operators get more content variety without additional integration work on their end.
