QTech Games Appoints Ekaterina Mayorova as Africa and Eastern Europe Sales Lead

Game aggregator hires Ekaterina Mayorova to drive expansion across African and Eastern European markets

QTech Games appointed Ekaterina Mayorova as Sales & Account Manager for Africa & Eastern Europe on June 27, 2025. The role is new for the game aggregator company.

Mayorova brings experience from previous positions at Trustly and PandaScore. She worked in account management and senior business development roles at both companies.

QTech Games CEO Philip Doftvik announced the hire. The company describes itself as “the leading game aggregator for all emerging markets.”

Africa represents a growing opportunity for the iGaming industry. QTech wants to “consolidate its existing presence across Europe and drive new revenue streams across Africa’s evolving landscape.”

The company already has partners in these regions. But it sees potential for much bigger growth.

Doftvik explained their ambitions clearly. “We want to dominate by building a strong brand in the region,” he said. Africa could become “a substantial part of our total revenue mix.”

Eastern Europe offers additional expansion opportunities. The company wants someone to manage both territories from a single role.

She’ll manage QTech’s existing partners across Africa and Eastern Europe. The job also involves finding new business opportunities.

Mayorova called QTech “a company with the most customizable content suite and focus on emerging markets.” She’s excited about the team structure too.

“Having worked across iGaming, esports, and fintech, I’m thrilled to take on this new opportunity,” Mayorova said. Her background spans multiple relevant industries.

She specifically mentioned Africa’s importance. “Africa holds a special place in my career journey,” she explained.

The company will showcase its technology at SBWA+ in Ghana this August. Mayorova and other team members will attend the event.

QTech developed something called QTech Hybrid for African markets. This software connects online gaming with land-based operations.

The system links QTech’s AI-powered casino lobby to retail management systems. It also includes an Agent Management System for managing outlets and agents.

Operators can use QTech Hybrid to move their brick-and-mortar business online. Players can access games from home or in-store through the same system.

The technology doesn’t require expensive terminals. It runs on regular computers and tablets instead.

Doftvik said Mayorova “has hit the ground running and proved herself a quick study.” Her network in target territories is already helping the company.

QTech sees the African market as “dynamic and fast-growing.” They want to capture market share before competitors establish strong positions.

The Ghana event will let them demonstrate QTech Hybrid’s capabilities to potential partners. This represents a key part of their African expansion strategy.

In January 2025, QTech Games signed a deal with Clawbuster to enable access to mobile-optimised slots in new markets.
