Octoplay just launched its casino games in New Jersey through a continuing partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI). The move gives Garden State players access to Octoplay’s content via RSI’s BetRivers platform.
Ralitsa Georgieva serves as Octoplay’s Director of Business Development. She’s been pushing the company’s North American expansion efforts.
Richard Schwartz runs RSI as CEO and has been celebrating this latest partnership extension. The two companies already work together in Mexico and Ontario.
Why This Partnership Made Sense for Both Companies
Georgieva called partnering with RSI “a significant milestone in our North American growth trajectory.” She’s clearly excited about building what she described as a “meaningful and long-term partnership together.”
Schwartz praised Octoplay’s approach, saying they have “an innovative approach to content development that made this partnership a great fit for our BetRivers platform.”
He noted that Octoplay’s “strong performance and focus on quality complement our commitment to delivering the best gaming experiences to our players.”
The partnership builds on existing success in other North American markets.
What New Jersey Players Can Access
Eight online gaming titles are now available to New Jersey players through BetRivers. These include 777 Hot Reels: Supercharged and Juicy Rolls: Feature Frenzy.
Players throughout the Garden State can access Octoplay’s full suite of iGaming content via the BetRivers platform. The launch represents another expansion of RSI’s game offerings in New Jersey.
Octoplay holds active licenses in 12 jurisdictions around the world. These include the UK, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Romania, Belgium, Greece, Malta, Ontario and Slovakia.
The company also has provisional licenses in Michigan and New Jersey.
How This Fits Broader Industry Expansion
This launch continues Octoplay’s established presence across several North American regions through its collaboration with RSI. The partnership has proven successful in both Mexico and Ontario.
Interestingly, RSI’s been busy with other partnerships too. Online gaming studio RubyPlay just launched in Delaware through its continued partnership with RSI.
RubyPlay called its Delaware debut a “key milestone” for the company’s US expansion plans. The studio hopes to extend its reach into more US states going forward.
These moves show how RSI is becoming a key gateway for international game developers wanting to enter regulated US markets. The company’s multi-state presence makes it an attractive partner for studios looking to scale quickly.
For Octoplay, New Jersey represents another step in what appears to be a systematic North American rollout through established partnerships rather than going it alone.
