Nearly Half of Hard Rock Bet Players Changed Their Game Choices in September

Nearly Half of Hard Rock Bet Players Changed Their Game Choices in September
Hard Rock Hotstepper had held the top spot on Hard Rock Bet's online casino chart for two months. In September, it fell to fourth. Two other games that had broken into August's top 10 couldn't even stay among the top 40.

Those were among the changes highlighted in Hard Rock Bet’s September casino report, published October 6. The operator also found that 48% of its casino players tried at least one game absent from August’s activity. The figures cover New Jersey and Michigan.

Last Month’s Hits Lose Their Place

Shark Pop: Coin Collect and 4 Crazy Cluckers had both made August’s top 10. By September, neither was in the top 40.

Oink Oink Oink suffered a similar drop, going from second to outside the top 30. Money Link Moon Goddess, previously fourth, fell below 20th place. Wrappin’ Gold had an even rougher month, disappearing from the top 200 after reaching the top 20 in August.

September wasn’t just a bad month for August’s newcomers. Hard Rock Hotstepper, the previous two-time leader, also lost its No. 1 position.

Hard Rock Triple Prosperity Takes First Place

The new leader was Playtech’s Hard Rock Triple Prosperity. It jumped from 19th to first, with more than twice as many players as in August.

Aristocrat’s Lightning Link Tiki Fire came straight into second place. Super Grand Link Express: Hold & Win and Gold Megaways also joined the top 10, taking sixth and tenth respectively.

Bigger Piggy Bank climbed 30 places to seventh. Hard Rock Gold Blitz also reached the top 10 after its audience grew by more than 70%.

The turnover is easier to see when comparing the two months. September had three new entries in the top 10, against two in August, as reported by PlayUSA. And seven of September’s ten leading games had either entered the ranking or improved their position.

The Smaller Games Had Their Own Regulars

Hard Rock Bet’s figures also included games that drew smaller crowds but kept players coming back. Five of the 12 titles with the most engaged audiences in that group were Slingo games. Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania Slingo and Slingo DaVinci Diamond were played on roughly four separate days per player during September. That was more than double the typical frequency in the operator’s data.

Game King Video Poker stood out for a different reason. Its players completed more than three times the typical number of rounds, and its audience was about one-third larger than in August.

None of this reveals how the games performed financially. Hard Rock Bet hasn’t published wagering totals, revenue or the number of players included in the study. The results are also specific to its New Jersey and Michigan casinos.
