Jordan Schultz Signs Content Deal with Fanatics
NFL reporter brings exclusive shows and weekly picks to sportsbook platform

Jordan Schultz, the well-known NFL reporter, just inked a sports media content deal with Fanatics Sportsbook. This isn’t just any talking head agreement – Schultz brings some serious credibility and two established shows to the table.

His content lineup includes “Why is Draymond Green Talking About Football?” and “The Schultz Report.” Both shows will get exclusive activations through the Fanatics partnership, which means unique content you won’t find anywhere else.

Schultz has been making waves in sports media, and this move represents his shift from traditional broadcast to building his own YouTube-based media channel.

Why Fanatics Wanted This Partnership

“The move from broadcast to YouTube gives me the opportunity to build something truly different and to dive deeper into the stories of the people on the field and sidelines,” Schultz explained. He’s targeting that sweet spot between insider access and fan engagement.

Fanatics CMO Selena Kalvaria was pretty direct about why they wanted him: “Jordan is a fountain of NFL knowledge and audiences will now have more ways to engage with him to hear him break down the news of the day.”

The timing makes sense too – Fanatics has been aggressively expanding their content partnerships. Just last week they announced a deal with the Indianapolis Colts on August 20, giving select season ticket members fancash for gameday experiences.

What the Partnership Actually Delivers

Schultz’s new media channel will pump out weekly, multi-show content throughout the entire 2025-2026 NFL season. We’re talking behind-the-scenes access to players and insights that go beyond typical sports coverage.

But here’s the betting angle: Schultz and Draymond Green will provide weekly NFL picks exclusively for Fanatics Sportsbook users. That’s content with real value for people actually wagering on games.

“My goal is to bring fans closer to the game, bridging the gap between the locker room and their living room,” Schultz said about his approach.

How This Fits Fanatics’ Broader Strategy

This content deal dropped the same day Fanatics announced their Boyd Gaming partnership for Missouri market access. They’re clearly moving fast on multiple fronts – content creation and geographic expansion happening simultaneously.

The Schultz partnership gives Fanatics something their competitors don’t have: exclusive NFL insider content tied directly to betting picks. That’s valuable differentiation in a crowded sportsbook market.

Plus, Schultz’s YouTube strategy aligns with where younger sports fans are consuming content. Traditional broadcast is losing ground to creators who can offer more authentic, unfiltered takes on what’s happening in professional sports.
