Xpoint has signed a partnership deal with High 5 Casino to provide geolocation compliance technology. High 5 operates as one of North America’s largest social casino platforms.
Xpoint specialises in geolocation compliance technology for gaming companies. The company helps operators verify player locations and detect location fraud.
High 5 Casino approached Xpoint in October last year about integration needs. The social casino wanted better compliance tools as it expands across US markets.
Social casino operators face changing state requirements for player verification. Different states have different rules about where players can access social casino games.
High 5 needed precise location tracking as it grows its digital presence. The company wants to ensure players only access games from eligible locations.
“As one of the most established gaming brands in the U.S., we take compliance incredibly seriously,” said Gino Fratto, VP of Product at High 5 Casino. “Our players trust us not only to entertain them but to protect them, and that includes only allowing gameplay from eligible locations.”
The partnership helps High 5 avoid regulatory issues. Social casinos that don’t verify locations properly can face state enforcement actions.
The integration adds Xpoint Lite to High 5’s platform. This system provides real-time geolocation verification and anti-fraud detection.
Xpoint’s platform uses multiple signals and sensors to determine player locations. It can also identify when players try to fake their location data.
“We built our platform so that operators like High 5 can choose exactly how and where they want to comply,” said Manu Gambhir, CEO of Xpoint. “This integration was one of the fastest we’ve ever executed.”
The system lets High 5 control exactly which jurisdictions allow gameplay. Operators get full control over their regulatory footprint.
The Xpoint integration represents one of several recent operational upgrades at High 5. The company also deployed AI-based personalisation tools and expanded its 24/7 customer support team.
These changes create what High 5 calls a more secure and responsive player experience. The geolocation technology specifically addresses compliance concerns.
“After extensive due diligence, we chose to partner with Xpoint because of their deep expertise, industry leadership, and responsiveness,” Fratto said.
High 5 hopes other social casino operators will adopt similar compliance measures. “We believe this level of geolocation rigour should be the norm, not the exception,” Fratto added.
The partnership shows how social casino operators are taking compliance more seriously. As state regulations continue changing, location verification technology becomes increasingly important for operators wanting to avoid regulatory problems.
Earlier this month, High 4 Games reclaimed its Connecticut supplier licence shortly after a $1.5 million settlement over allegations of unlicensed activity.
