Hard Rock Bet and IGT launch exclusive New Jersey slot game
Kick Drum Cash marks the first custom collaboration between the operator and game supplier

Hard Rock Bet Casino teamed up with IGT PlayDigital to release Kick Drum Cash. It’s their first custom game built specifically for Hard Rock’s brand.

The slot launched last week for New Jersey players only. Rich Criado, Hard Rock Bet’s VP of Casino, called it a “made-for-Hard Rock experience” that’s fast and fun.

IGT developed the game to match Hard Rock’s rock-and-roll identity. The supplier optimised it for both mobile and desktop play.

Why Hard Rock Wanted Custom Content

Most online casinos use the same slot libraries as their competitors. Custom games give operators something unique to offer players.

Hard Rock’s been building its digital presence across regulated US markets. Exclusive titles help the brand stand out in crowded states like New Jersey, where dozens of operators compete for the same players.

The collaboration also strengthens Hard Rock’s relationship with IGT. Building custom content takes more time and resources than licensing existing games. But it creates products that can’t be found anywhere else.

What Players Get With Kick Drum Cash

The game includes tap-to-win rounds that reveal instant cash prizes. Random multipliers boost the values players win during these rounds.

Bonus lights appear during gameplay. Once collected, they trigger what Hard Rock calls an “amped-up” bonus sequence.

The mechanics stay straightforward. Criado noted the game is “easy-to-pick-up” while still offering enough features to keep things interesting. Players don’t need to learn complicated rules before they start.

How This Fits Hard Rock’s Growth Plans

The Kick Drum Cash launch came just days after Hard Rock opened a major new property. On November 13, the company held a grand opening ceremony for Hard Rock Casino Tejon in California.

Hard Rock International partnered with the Tejon Indian Tribe on the $600 million project. The casino created over 1,000 permanent jobs and more than 5,000 construction positions. It’s the largest private hospitality investment in Kern County’s history.

The Tejon property features 150,000 square feet of casino space. That includes 2,000-plus slot machines, over 50 table games, and VIP high-limit rooms.

Phase two will add a 400-room hotel tower and a 2,800-seat entertainment venue called Hard Rock Live. The venue will host concerts, performances, and sporting events.

Hard Rock also partnered with Ocean Conservancy on November 17. The nonprofit collaboration focuses on reducing waste and protecting oceans.

The moves show Hard Rock pushing into new markets while building exclusive digital content. Custom games like Kick Drum Cash give the brand identity that generic slot libraries can’t match.
