Gila River Resorts & Casinos will open a bingo hall at its Santan Mountain property in Chandler. The venue opens with a four-day event from August 29 through September 1.
General Manager Denise Pfaff said bingo draws consistent crowds at the company’s Vee Quiva location. “Bingo has consistently been one of the most beloved and high-energy experiences at our Vee Quiva location, drawing loyal guests and new players alike with every session,” she said.
The success there led to the decision to add bingo at Santan Mountain.
The company cited proven demand from its existing bingo operations. Vee Quiva’s sessions regularly attract both repeat customers and new players.
Pfaff noted the continuing growth in excitement and demand. The expansion represents an attempt to capitalise on that momentum.
Santan Mountain houses Arizona’s largest casino sportsbook. It also contains more than 900 slot machines and table games.
The 13,000-square-foot space uses an indoor/outdoor design with floor-to-ceiling windows. The layout provides views of the San Tan Mountains.
Equipment includes 98-inch HDTVs and digital bingo options. The venue contains a sound system, lighting setup, and a dance floor.
Daily bingo sessions will operate with ticket packages priced from $30 to $225. The grand opening weekend includes buy-one-get-one-free deals on electronic packages.
Saturday nights feature “Bingo After Dark” sessions starting at 11:30 p.m. These sessions include live DJs, line dancing, glowsticks, and cash prizes. Sales begin at 9 p.m.
The grand opening operates two daily sessions: 10am to 12pm and 4pm to 6pm. The first 230 guests at each session can spin a prize wheel.
Available prizes include t-shirts, daubers, gift cards, hats, and varsity jackets. The event will feature giveaways, live DJ music, and a celebrity guest host.
Bingo games run at 12pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm throughout the weekend. The first “Bingo After Dark” session takes place Saturday, August 30.
The opening weekend will display what the company calls the “World’s Largest Bingo drum.”
Santan Mountain operates at 7101 Gilbert Road in Chandler. The property combines the new bingo hall with five restaurants, three bars, and weekend live music programming.
The venue joins Gila River’s existing casino operations in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
In March 2025, Gila River Resorts & Casinos signed a deal with Peak Strategic Partnerships to grow sponsorship opportunities throughout the tribal gaming and entertainment sectors. The deal also involved collaboration with Carnival Corporation to address brand visibility and guest experiences.
