Gates of Olympus Enters Luxury Watches With Jacob & Co. Piece
Jacob & Co. has presented a one-off Astronomia watch based on Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus slot. The release puts one of online casino’s most visible game brands into the luxury collector market.

The Zeus-themed slot has given the visual inspiration for a high-end mechanical watch. Luxury watch and jewelry house Jacob & Co. introduced a one-off timepiece called Astronomia Gates of Olympus. In its design, the brand uses the same mythological world that made the game from Pragmatic Play easily recognizable – Zeus, lightning bolts, clouds, and Greek buildings.

This project shows just how far a casino game branding concept can go. Most of the time, slot themes stay inside the lobbies, streamed clips, and provider portfolio collections. With this timepiece, the slot identity is embedded into a luxury product intended for collectors.

What Jacob & Co. Built

Astronomia Gates of Olympus continues Jacob & Co.’s tradition of making watches in a theatrical manner. The model places an Olympus scene under a large sapphire dome, with Zeus depicted as a main character.

The watch uses the JCAM63 caliber, composed of 503 parts. Its main mechanical feature is its triple-axis tourbillon that revolves around axes at different speeds. This results in a functioning watch face that is more similar to a moving sculpture than to a regular dial.

Baguette diamonds amounting to over 9 carats decorate the case. Moreover, Jacob & Co. used Super-Luminova coating to make Zeus’ eyes and lightning bolt glowing in the dark.

Specialists estimate the value of this watch model at around $1.4 million. Jacob & Co. referred to this model as Pièce Unique, which means a single piece.

Why Gates of Olympus Was Chosen

Gates of Olympus was created by Pragmatic Play in 2021. The slot features Zeus, cascading reels, scatters, and multipliers. According to the creators, the game’s RTP is set at 96.50%.

The watch comes after an earlier release by Pragmatic Play of Gates of Olympus Roulette. That release was notable for the use of a familiar slot name in a completely different product format.

Jacob & Co.’s piece takes the same brand logic into a different market. This new item has not created another casino product. Instead, it turns a casino theme into a collectible object.

Market Signal

Strong slot brands can now act like entertainment IP, especially when a character, visual style, and name are easy to identify. Gates of Olympus has those three elements. That makes the Jacob & Co. piece unusual, but not random. It is a sign that the strongest iGaming brands may start to appear far outside casino platforms.
