Gaming Analytics and Mindway AI announced their partnership yesterday. The deal centres on Mindway’s GameScanner tool, which will now work inside Gaming Analytics’ land-based casino systems. Gaming Analytics CEO Kiran Brahmandam runs the casino software company that serves land-based operators.
Mindway AI’s CEO is Rasmus Kjaergaard. His company builds tools that spot problem gambling behaviour before it escalates. GameScanner uses AI to watch how players behave at casinos.
This isn’t Mindway’s first major deal recently. Crown Resorts in Australia added the same software last month. And just last week, PrizePicks signed on to use Mindway’s detection system. The company is moving fast to expand its reach.
Why Land-Based Casinos Need This Technology
North American casinos face growing pressure to protect players. Gaming Analytics built this partnership around its casino sustainability campaign. The company wants operators to catch problem gambling before it gets worse.
Brahmandam said integrating responsible gaming technology with AI-driven casino insights is “the future of the industry.” Operators can now track performance while watching for warning signs. The system works with data, not guesswork.
Traditional player protection often reacts too late. By the time staff notice a problem, players have already lost significant money. GameScanner changes that timing completely.
The technology gives casinos a way to balance business goals with player safety. That’s been a tough balance historically.
What Gaming Analytics Gets From the Integration
Gaming Analytics will embed GameScanner directly into its platform. The software runs in the background while casinos operate normally. It tracks betting patterns, time spent gambling, and other behavioural signals.
Operators using Gaming Analytics’ systems get both tools at once. They can measure floor performance and monitor player safety through the same interface. This saves time and reduces the need for separate systems.
The company already partnered with Granite State Gaming and Hospitality earlier this year. That deal focused on different technology integration. Now Gaming Analytics adds player protection to its core offerings. It’s building a more complete package for operators.
How This Changes Responsible Gaming Approaches
Kjaergaard said the collaboration gives operators “a unique opportunity to balance business growth with responsible gaming.” Most casinos see these as competing goals.
But the combined platform makes both possible.
North Carolina just opened new centres to help people with gambling addiction earlier this month. That shows regulators and states are pushing harder on this issue. Operators with tools like GameScanner get ahead of future requirements. They won’t be scrambling when rules tighten.
The technology shift moves protection from reactive to proactive. Instead of waiting for players to ask for help, casinos can spot trouble early and step in. Kjaergaard says combining GameScanner with Gaming Analytics’ platform lets operators make “the casino experience smarter, safer, and more sustainable.”
