FIRST.bet Sportsbook Goes Live With Grupo Slots

FIRST.bet has launched its sportsbook technology with Argentina’s Grupo Slots. The engine is already live on Jugadon, the operator’s online gambling brand.

The launch was announced on September 24. FIRST.bet is providing the sportsbook platform, trading and risk management. The work also includes localisation for Argentina.

The deal is already at the operating stage, rather than an agreement for a future launch. A report on the rollout says Grupo Slots will use the FIRST.bet product for its sports betting offer.

Jugadon Is Active in Five Argentine Markets

A check of Jugadon’s regional selector shows access for CABA, Córdoba, La Rioja, San Luis and Santa Fe. The setup is not identical in each market.

Santa Fe, for example, lists Jugadon among approved sports betting sites. The provincial regulator also lists Bplay, City Center Online and BetWarrior in the same category.

In Córdoba, the official online gambling list includes cordoba.jugadon.bet.ar and identifies Slots Machines S.A. as the operator. Jugadon’s own regional pages also cite local approvals in CABA, La Rioja and San Luis.

This gives the brand a five-jurisdiction footprint. It does not confirm that FIRST.bet technology was switched on in every regional version on September 24. The announcement names Jugadon as the live brand but does not provide a province-by-province rollout list.

FIRST.bet Had Another Argentina Launch in July

This is not FIRST.bet’s first operator deployment in Argentina this year. On July 23, FIRST.bet announced a launch with ONDISS and City Center Online. The Grupo Slots announcement followed 63 days later.

There is also a provincial overlap. Both City Center Online and Jugadon are authorized sports betting platforms in Santa Fe.

For FIRST.bet, the two announced deployments therefore involve at least two Argentine operator brands in a little over two months. Grupo Slots and FIRST.bet did not disclose the value or duration of the new agreement.
