FanDuel brings DeMarcus Cousins to Run It Back
Former NBA centre joins daily basketball show for upcoming season

DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins is joining FanDuel TV’s Run It Back as a new co-host. The former NBA centre will work alongside Michelle Beadle and retired players Chandler Parsons and Lou Williams.

The show enters its fourth season covering NBA games and analysis. FanDuel plans to rotate additional players and industry insiders throughout the 2025-2026 season. Cousins brings 11 years of professional basketball experience to the broadcast team.

Why FanDuel Added the Former All-Star Centre

The operator wants authentic voices with firsthand league experience. Cousins played for seven NBA teams during his career and made four All-Star appearances. His outspoken personality fits Run It Back’s existing format.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Beadle, Chandler and Lou on the Run It Back team,” Cousins said. “Run It Back has a reputation for authentic takes, and that’s exactly the kind of environment where I thrive.”

He’s known for direct opinions about basketball. That approach matches what the show’s already doing. FanDuel TV Executive Producer Michael Shiffman called Cousins a “fearless voice” who can connect with different audience types.

The show targets both dedicated fans and casual viewers. Cousins can break down complex plays in accessible terms. His NBA knowledge covers both player perspectives and technical strategy.

What Changes for the Show’s Fourth Season

Run It Back continues its daily NBA coverage format. The program analyses prominent league games and provides betting insights for viewers. Cousins joins the regular hosting rotation immediately.

FanDuel TV will feature rotating guest analysts throughout the season. The show airs on FanDuel’s broadcast networks and streaming platforms. Production starts before the 2025-2026 NBA season tips off.

Shiffman said Cousins’ addition represents “a strategic leap forward” for the program. The show aims to be “bigger, sharper and more unapologetically authentic than ever” in its fourth year.

How This Fits FanDuel’s Broader Sports Strategy

FanDuel also extended its EuroLeague Basketball partnership through 2028. The operator announced the multi-year deal on October 20. It builds on a collaboration that started in 2024 through IMG.

The agreement covers regular season games, the Play-In Showdown, playoffs and Final Four. FanDuel Sports Network will broadcast select matches. Games also stream on the operator’s app.

EuroLeague expands to 20 teams for 2025-2026, including Dubai Basketball’s debut. The European competition gives FanDuel international basketball content beyond NBA coverage. These moves show the operator’s commitment to basketball programming across multiple leagues and formats.
