Ezugi signed a partnership with PointsBet to supply live dealer games in Ontario. The deal puts titles like Canada Blackjack and Ultimate Roulette into PointsBet’s casino.
Evolution owns Ezugi. The supplier’s been part of the larger company since 2018. PointsBet operates in Ontario’s regulated market, which opened in April 2022.
The games will reach players through Evolution’s One Stop Shop platform. That system handles integrations for multiple casino brands at once.
Why This Partnership Targets Ontario Players
Ontario represents a major opportunity for live casino suppliers. The province’s market has grown quickly since launch.
Ezugi focuses on localised content. Canada Blackjack specifically targets North American players who want regional variations. It’s not just standard blackjack with a new name. The game includes features designed for local preferences.
PointsBet wants to strengthen its casino offering. The operator already has sports betting but needs stronger table game content. Live dealer games typically attract higher-value players than slots.
What Games Enter PointsBet’s Lobby
PointsBet customers can now access several Ezugi titles. Canada Blackjack leads the lineup with its localised format.
EZ Baccarat offers a simplified version of the traditional game. The rules remove some complexity that confuses newer players. Ultimate Roulette combines live dealing with digital betting interfaces.
These games mix real dealers with digital features. Players see actual cards and wheels but place bets through on-screen controls. The format works well on mobile devices.
Brooke Hilton, Head of Casino at PointsBet Canada, said: “We’re excited to partner with Ezugi to bring its innovative live-dealer games to our Ontario players. This integration via Evolution’s platform enhances our casino offerings with dynamic, localised titles like Canada Blackjack and Ultimate Roulette.”
How This Fits Ezugi’s Growth Strategy
The deal marks another step in Ezugi’s North American push. James Smith, Commercial Strategy Manager at Ezugi, said: “We are thrilled to team up with PointsBet in Ontario. We recognize Ontario as a key growth region and this partnership with a top-tier operator marks an important step in our mission to bring Ezugi’s unique and exciting live casino content to the forefront for players in North America.”
Ezugi recently partnered with PokerStars in October. That deal added games to PokerStars’ UK and Ontario sites. The supplier seems to be securing multiple operator deals in regulated markets.
Evolution’s platform makes these integrations faster. Operators don’t need separate technical work for each supplier. They connect once to Evolution’s system and get access to multiple brands.
The Ontario market continues attracting new content deals. Suppliers see the province as a gateway to other Canadian markets that might regulate next.
