EveryMatrix gains CIBELAE membership for LatAm push
B2B provider targets expansion into 80 Hispanic American countries

EveryMatrix just secured associate membership with CIBELAE, the official branch of the World Lottery Association. The organisation represents 80 Hispanic American speaking countries across Latin America, Central America, Spain and Portugal.

Group CEO and Co-Founder Ebbe Groes sees this as a major step forward. He’s betting on long-term relationships in these regulated markets.

CIBELAE Executive Director Rodrigo Cigliutti welcomed the partnership. He called EveryMatrix a “world-class B2B technology partner” that can help national and state-owned lotteries modernise their operations.

The company brings online gaming software, sports betting solutions, payment systems and affiliate management tools to operators worldwide.

Why This Membership Matters Right Now

EveryMatrix has been eyeing Latin American expansion for a while, and CIBELAE membership opens doors they couldn’t access before. These aren’t just any markets – they’re heavily regulated territories where having the right connections matters.

The organisation’s reach spans 80 countries, giving EveryMatrix a direct line to lottery operators across the region. That’s huge when you’re trying to break into markets where government-run lotteries dominate.

Timing’s also key here. Latin American gaming markets have been opening up, but operators need proven technology partners who understand compliance requirements.

What the Approval Process Involves

The board already approved EveryMatrix’s application, but there’s still a formal step ahead. CIBELAE will ratify the membership at its Annual Ordinary Assembly later this year.

It’s not just a rubber stamp process either. Associate membership means EveryMatrix gets access to the network while CIBELAE maintains standards for who can join.

Cigliutti specifically mentioned how EveryMatrix can help lotteries “expand omnichannel operations and enhance player protection” – exactly what regulators want to hear in these markets.

How This Changes EveryMatrix’s Regional Strategy

This membership gives EveryMatrix credibility with government-run lottery operators who might otherwise be skeptical of private gaming companies. Having CIBELAE’s backing opens conversations that were probably impossible before.

Groes talked about “leveraging this membership to create new, long-lasting relationships.” That suggests they’re planning long-term partnerships rather than quick market entries.

The focus on regulated markets makes sense too. While some operators chase gray markets for quick profits, EveryMatrix is positioning itself as the compliant choice for serious expansion.

The real test comes after the formal ratification. Will this membership actually translate into new contracts with lottery operators?

Given EveryMatrix’s track record with regulated markets in Europe, they’ve got the experience to make this work. But Latin America’s a different beast entirely, with unique regulatory challenges and local preferences that could make or break their expansion plans.
