DraftKings Unifies Sportsbook and Prediction Market Integrity Stack

DraftKings Unifies Sportsbook and Prediction Market Integrity Stack
DraftKings will deploy four IC360 integrity tools across both DraftKings Sportsbook and DraftKings Predictions under an expanded agreement announced September 8. IC360 says it is the first single-operator integration to combine ProhiBet, built for prohibited sportsbook wagering, with ProhiTrade, which covers prohibited event-contract trading.

The rollout brings Integrity Monitoring, ProhiBet, ProhiTrade and ProhiBet Bad Actors into the same operator environment. Instead of applying the same control to two products, IC360 separates the risks created by sportsbook bets and event-contract trades while feeding both into a wider integrity system.

That distinction has become more relevant as DraftKings builds Predictions alongside its established sportsbook. In June, the company launched its proprietary DKeX exchange and said DraftKings Predictions had reached approximately $3.4 billion in annualized consumer volume for the week ended June 21.

ProhiBet and ProhiTrade Target Different Risks

For the sportsbook, DraftKings will use ProhiBet to screen for athletes, coaches, trainers, officials, league personnel and other people who are prohibited from betting on competitions they can influence.

ProhiTrade applies a similar principle to prediction markets, but the trigger is different. It is designed to stop people with material non-public or insider information from trading event contracts connected to outcomes they may be able to affect. DraftKings plans to use the system across both DKeX and DraftKings Predictions.

IC360 will also provide real-time monitoring for suspicious betting and trading patterns. ProhiBet Bad Actors adds another layer by identifying customers linked to harassment or threats against athletes, coaches and officials.

“As consumer market offerings continue to expand, operators and exchanges need systems that work fluently across all verticals,” IC360 Chief Commercial Officer Ali Schempp said.

CFTC Records Show the Other Side of the Stack

A 15M check of current Commodity Futures Trading Commission records shows Railbird Exchange remains listed as a designated contract market. The exchange was acquired by DraftKings and is now operated as DKeX. A separate CFTC filing identifies the entity as Railbird Exchange LLC, doing business as DKeX.

That creates an unusual compliance setup inside one consumer brand. DraftKings Sportsbook operates through state and provincial gambling regimes, while its event-contract infrastructure sits within the federal commodities framework. The IC360 agreement puts integrity controls for both sides into one technology stack.

One Stack, Two Regulatory Models

DraftKings is effectively bringing integrity controls for two differently regulated products into the same operating environment. For sportsbook teams, that means prohibited-bettor screening and suspicious-wager monitoring can sit alongside insider-risk controls developed for event contracts.

Affiliates do not need to change traffic immediately, but US-facing content should continue to distinguish DraftKings Sportsbook from DraftKings Predictions. They share a brand, not the same regulatory framework or product availability.

For compliance vendors, the broader signal is that sportsbook tooling is starting to extend into prediction markets rather than being rebuilt from scratch for a separate vertical.

IC360 did not provide an implementation timetable. The next marker will be the rollout of ProhiTrade across DKeX and DraftKings Predictions and whether another sportsbook operator follows DraftKings with the same combined ProhiBet-ProhiTrade model.
