Choctaw Durant opens 104-game room with three suppliers
Oklahoma property's Link Casino space marks first joint integration by Aristocrat, Light & Wonder and GCG

Choctaw Casino & Resort Durant opened a new 104-game room yesterday through partnerships with Aristocrat Gaming, Light & Wonder and Gaming Capital Group. The Oklahoma property cut the ribbon on the space inside its Link Casino.

This marks the first time these three suppliers worked together on a single casino integration. GCG’s involvement made the joint project possible, according to the companies.

Erica Kosemund, Executive Director of Brand & Partnerships at Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, said the room gives guests “an experiential room full of their favourite games.” She thanked all three partners for making it happen.

Why this supplier collaboration matters

The partnership creates a new model for how gaming suppliers can work together on casino projects. GCG acted as the connector between Aristocrat and Light & Wonder for the Durant integration.

“At GCG, our mission is to remain the very best partner to our gaming manufacturers and tribal partners,” said Melissa Cox, GCG’s VP of Marketing & Customer Relations. She pointed to strong relationships as the key factor.

Oklahoma players have deep ties to Aristocrat’s VGT brands. Kurt Gissane, Aristocrat’s Chief Revenue Officer, said the new space “brings that legacy to life in a bold new way.”

What the Hunt for Neptune’s Gold room includes

The 104 games sit inside a Hunt for Neptune’s Gold-themed space. Popular characters from Aristocrat’s library appear throughout, including Jewel, Ruby and Mr. Money Bags.

Aristocrat’s latest titles mix with established player favourites. The room design aims to create what Gissane called “a dynamic gaming experience in one vibrant destination.”

The property held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 29. Mascots from Huff N’ Puff and Hunt for Neptune’s Gold attended the opening. Free t-shirts went to guests who showed up for the celebration.

How this changes casino supplier relationships

Joint supplier integrations aren’t common in tribal gaming. But this project shows how manufacturers can collaborate instead of compete for floor space.

The three companies worked together on design, installation and theming. That level of cooperation could influence how other properties approach gaming floor expansions.

Choctaw Durant’s willingness to feature multiple suppliers in a single themed space gives players more variety. It also lets the property showcase different gaming styles without dividing its floor into separate vendor areas.

The partnership model might appeal to other tribal operators looking to maximise their gaming offerings. GCG’s facilitator role suggests there’s demand for companies that can coordinate between competing manufacturers.
