Catawba Two Kings Casino Signs Multiyear Agreement with Carolina Panthers

The multiyear agreement establishes promotional presence at Bank of America Stadium and patron experiences

Catawba Two Kings Casino entered a partnership with the Carolina Panthers that covers multiple seasons. The casino operates 35 miles from Charlotte in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

Trent Troxel, vice president of the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority, represents the casino in this deal. Eric Sudol, chief revenue officer for Tepper Sports & Entertainment, handles partnerships for the Panthers organisation.

The casino currently runs a temporary facility that opened in 2021. Construction continues on a permanent resort complex at the same location.

The casino gains access to Panthers’ fanbase across Charlotte and the broader Carolina region. Bank of America Stadium draws crowds from multiple states for home games.

Catawba’s temporary location has operated for three years, but awareness remains limited in the Charlotte metro area. The Panthers platform provides direct access to potential customers who live within driving distance.

The partnership timing coincides with construction progress on the permanent casino resort. The promotional relationship will continue when the full facility opens.

Panthers benefit from adding another revenue stream through the partnership agreement.

Catawba receives in-stadium advertising during all Panthers home games. This includes scoreboard features and promotional activations at stadium entrances.

Fans aged 21 and older can enroll in the casino’s Lucky North Rewards loyalty program at the stadium. Participants receive merchandise and slot play credits at the casino.

The casino will host select patrons at Panthers home games. Some receive access to a 20-person luxury suite, while others get lower-level seating.

The Lucky North Rewards program provides various benefits to casino visitors, including discounted or complimentary trips and experiences.

Stadium activations allow fans to interact with casino representatives and learn about the facility.

The partnership places Catawba directly in front of Charlotte’s sports audience. This market access could influence regional gambling patterns.

The permanent Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort represents a $1 billion investment. An introductory casino opens in spring 2026, with the full resort launching in 2027.

The completed facility will house 4,300 slot machines, 11 dining outlets, and a 24-story hotel with 385 rooms. Its Interstate 85 location provides access from both North and South Carolina.

Troxel stated that significant construction has been completed on the permanent resort. The partnership will remain active when the full facility opens.

Sudol described the agreement as reflecting “shared commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences to patrons and fans across the region.”

The deal establishes Catawba’s presence in Charlotte’s sports market while providing the Panthers with partnership revenue. Both organisations gain access to each other’s customer bases.

In June 2024, the casino introduced 12 live tables alongside an expanding slot portfolio to its temporary facility.
