BetMGM Lines Up 5 Halloween Casino Events Over 32 Days
The operator confirmed the programme in an October 15 announcement. By then, the first promotion had already ended and the second was underway. BetMGM calls LegendSCARY its biggest seasonal casino campaign of the year.
Five Promotions Cover 32 Consecutive Days
The published schedule divides the campaign into five stages:
- October 1-11: Kickoff to the Crypt;
- October 12-18: MGM Monster Mash Leaderboard;
- October 19-25: Promo Your Way Frenzy;
- October 26-29: The Final Haunting Sweepstakes;
- October 30-November 1: The Final Drive Leaderboard.
A review of the dates shows that the five windows run consecutively, without a break between promotions. The first lasts 11 days, while the final two occupy just seven days combined.
Those closing events also use different formats. A four-day sweepstakes gives way to a three-day leaderboard that includes Halloween itself.
Two of the five promotions are leaderboard competitions. The others include sweepstakes and game-specific rewards.
Inspired Slot Joins 50-Game Halloween Collection
BetMGM has decorated its casino lobby with spiders, bats and cobwebs for October. There is also a separate Halloween category containing more than 50 games.
Among them is Bigger Piggy Halloween Bank from Inspired Entertainment. The slot is exclusive to BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online. It offers Bonus Spins, jackpots and the Piggy Wheel Bonus, along with Cash and Collector symbols.
The game joins the Halloween collection during a campaign in which individual promotions change every few days. Players can browse the seasonal titles separately from the scheduled bonus offers.
New Jersey Bonuses Come With Different Wagering Rules
The October 19-25 promotion includes three slot offers in New Jersey. Their qualifying amounts and withdrawal conditions differ.
On Frankenstein’s Fortune, $50 in wagers earns five Bonus Spins. Candy Express Gold Blitz awards a $5 Casino Bonus for the same wagering amount, but requires players to opt in again each day.
Boo Bucks Bonus Wheel has four spending thresholds, starting at $25 for a $5 bonus and reaching $500 for $50.
According to PlayNJ’s October 19 review, Candy Express and Boo Bucks bonuses carry a 10x playthrough requirement within one day. A $5 bonus therefore requires another $50 in eligible wagers before withdrawal. Winnings from Frankenstein’s Fortune Bonus Spins have no additional wagering requirement.
Two Sweepstakes Offer 30 Prize Packages
The next event, running October 26-29, offers New Jersey players two sweepstakes with 30 prize packages between them. One has 25 packages containing a $2,500 Casino Bonus, while the other has five with a $5,000 Casino Bonus. Watches and shopping gift cards are also included. Eligible players can enter without making a purchase.
The campaign ends with the October 30-November 1 leaderboard. Instead of relying on a single Halloween offer, BetMGM switches between slot bonuses, sweepstakes and leaderboards, giving players different reasons to return throughout the month. The operator has not disclosed participation figures or retention results for LegendSCARY.
